Blinded by the Light---NOT!
I used to be all Bruce Springsteen/Manfred Mann while driving at night ("Blinded by the Light"), especially if it was raining. The advent of widespread use of halogen headlights and LED streetlights made night driving difficult. My eye doctor told me that light sensitivity after age 50 is normal, another reason that it stinks getting old. So, I thought this visor was worth trying and I'm glad that I did. The brightness of oncoming headlights is considerably reduced. No more need to squint and look away. Also, one of the biggest problems for me was the reflection of my headlights off the various road signs (speed limits, curves, deer crossing, etc.) With this visor, no reflection glare. It even worked pretty well when some jerk wouldn't dim his brights. It takes a few minutes to get used to the visor while your brain learns to ignore the edges, but only a few minutes. It's akin to your brain adjusting to ignoring the rims/edges of a new pair of glasses. Overall, this is something I wish I bought 5 or 10 years ago. It goes on my list of "Things That Don't S**k"

I was WRONG - This thing is AWESOME!
I was initially upset about this product because I thought it was not polarized. I was wrong. This product is made by a manufacturer of polarizing films and does, in fact, contain one lamination of polarizing film. The effect is subtle when held to a computer screen, iPhone, or sunglasses. Because it is one layer of polarizing film it doesn’t go all the way to extinction when you view it through another polarizing filter. It was so subtle an effect I immediately looked at one star reviews and confirmed my erroneous suspicions and jumped on the band wagon. For this, I am sorry 3D Mention Media, LLC.This thing works. The product does not work miracles but, while subtle, it’s effect is noticeable. I drive a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and I’m constantly getting blasted by sun glare and people’s headlights. The yellow tint is barely noticeable after a very short adjustment time and take a harshness off of the headlights of oncoming traffic at night and sun reflections during the day (though not as good as a nice pair of polarized glasses). Cooler still, you can use this in conjunction with polarized shades during the day.I use this all the time. It’s pretty awesome, albeit not magical. The mounting solution seemed cheap when I got it out of the box (two strips of Velcro), but it works very well, staying firmly affixed. The articulated points are all metal and they have a tactile feel and locking clicky action to them that holds the glare guard at the angle you set it.

The height is too short. The gap from the built-in visor is too large compared to its height,so direct lights can come through the gap enough to cause uncomfortable vision.Update:I purchased one more ... because of the issues mentioned above.I am using both of them as shown in the pictures.

I installed the daytime shields in August of 2016. It worked as advertised. Now I've installed the night time version of the same shield. It also worked as advertised. Both fit on the same visor. One on the front and one on the back. Then depending on whether it's during the day time or the night time, either is available for use.

Annoyed or Blinded by today's EXTREMELY BRIGHT HEADLIGHTS?
MUST HAVE for anyone who is Annoyed or Blinded by today's EXTREMELY BRIGHT HEADLIGHTS! Really cuts down the glare and makes night driving safe again. Also helps increase visibility in Snow and Rain especially at night. Don't waste your money on the cheaper brands that are nothing more than yellow plastic. This is the one that works. It stays securely in place with or without the included velcro straps and is easy to adjust with one hand while driving.

Doesn't seem to be polarized, but good for blue blocking.
This visor does help to block the blue color from oncoming headlights at night, which is nice since I am sensitive to blue light. However, the description of this item is misleading. I have both the gray polarized glare guard, and this one. The gray one is definitely polarized, which is obvious when see that the reflected sunlight is reduced during the day. The yellow glare guard, as far as I can tell, is not polarized. When I look through it during the day, it does not block the reflected glare off of other car windows like the gray guard. It looks the same with or without the yellow guard, except for the yellow color. That's a bit disappointing, since it won't block glare on cloudy days. I'm not sure what benefit polarization has at night, since polarization blocks the reflected sunlight. However, the description of this device seems to indicate that it is polarized. Even the included documentation, which is the same for the gray and yellow guards, is not clear as to whether the yellow guard is polarized. So, I'm a little disappointed in the product because of the poor and unclear feature description. But, as I said above, it does work well for blocking the blue color of oncoming headlights.

Help for Ultra Bright Headlight Glare
Don't get me wrong..the Glare Guard works well. I was probably expecting it to magically remove all glare, halo, and starbursts and it certainly does diminish them to a more tolerable level. With today's ultra bright headlights any reduction in glare is a welcome relief and this guard does just that.

Takes the edge off at night with horribly bright new headlights! Thank you!
This works! I used it for the first time last night driving home from work (I drive on highways for an hour each way to and from work) and was instantly impressed with how it turns the new, annoying and damaging to the eyes LED headlights from the horribly bright color to a softer yellow or yellow/greenish color, making them way more bearable. The odd set of headlights is still very bright, but again, very tolerable as long as you don't stare right at them.I wasn't becoming angry at the bright headlights last night for the first time - it was such a relief! This is easy to get used to and even works during the day to make things a nicer color in my opinion. I won't be without this again! I'm glad I paid the extra few bucks and got this brand, since the reviews were mostly excellent where other brands have very mixed reviews.Hope this helps others out there who are as frustrated as I am with those damn ridiculously bright headlights that actually can cause headaches and eye damage.
