Like people have been saying, the larger screws will fall off. Well, I have magnetized it several times and have to be real careful while handling it (not having shaky hand) as if I'm operating on a patient. Anyhow, it works as it says and I didn't have to use the demagnetizer but, I played around with it and worked fine.One thing I did do is to insert the screwdriver and allot the side of the tip to touch the positive side slowly all the way in and then back out.Works better when dealing with smaller screws, or you may want to consider just purchasing magnet screwdrivers if this doesn't suit your needs. They're much more expensive, but, you have to choose what would work for you.

I had one of these before so I know I will love it, unfortunaly this item has not arrived yet, UPD did a great job in getting it within one mile of house in record time. But the the US Post office was left in charge to run it out to my house. Well last I checked it was in St Paul MN. (I live in St Louis) It is now wonder why they are 60 billion ion debt and going broke. No fault of the seller they did their part and got it out FAST.... While my $5.00 magnetizer take a tour of the country on USPS's dime. I am left here to write stupid reviews of a product I do not have yet. I have owned one of these things and I loved it and had to get another It will magnetize a screwdriver in seconds and then demagnetize it in seconds as well. A Must have for the tool box.

I was skeptical that this item would be effective but I am quite pleased that it works great. I have certain hand tools that I could not find made to be magnetic and I am thrilled that those tools are now magnetically strong enough to hold onto fasteners until I get them into or out of precarious places. If the magnetism starts to get weak, you just pass the tool through the magnetizer again and it is good to go again. I have not tried the demagnetizer yet because I haven't needed to, but I'd be amazed if it doesn't work just as well.

Master magnetics magnetizer worked fine I only wished it magnetized with a little more strength, however it did what I ordered it for. I am satisfied with it.

I was looking for a magnetizer for my tools, and this one does the trick. I haven't used the demagnetizer, so I cannot say if it works or not. Still, for what I wanted it, I am happy with my purchase.

It works ok, just wish it would be a little stronger. But, it does work.

No problems and it does exactly what I expected it to do. It quickly magnetizes and demagnetizes any screw driver.

So handy when you are working on cell phones with such tiny screws.
