Bright, Durable, BRIGHT…and $$$
Did I mention that this light is BRIGHT?!? Well machined and assembled. All threads are butter smooth and I believe the waterproof claim. I’m not LEO, Security or DoD, but I use this nightly. It throws a USABLE wide beam a long way… much more than 100 meters. The 3-level switch is a godsend as the brightest two levels tend to washout details at close range. Strobe feature is a nice touch although not easily invoked without practice. It has two PWR switches, on the barrel and tail stock. It has a bell lens which makes it a little cumbersome in a holster but you get use to it. Lens is plastic…not glass. Kinda odd in this price range, but has proven very durable and scratch resistant in nearly two years of nightly use.I got the package with the dual-charger and two batteries. I swap the batteries out about every change of seasons and only plug the charger in when the I feel the flashlight might benefit from a bump (about once a week). The charging cradle charges both the flashlight and the spare battery at the same time or each alone. It also charges in a vehicle with the supplied cable. Well thought out and built. It is a pricey flashlight, but you mostly get what you pay for. Only thing I would like to see is a tempered glass lens.I would highly recommend this flashlight package to my friends and family.

This is the best duty light ever
This is the best duty light ever. small enough to keep in back pocket but long enough to hold under your arm. floods wide enough for traffic stops and roaming around alleys and spot is epic for searching. I ALWAYS have this in my back pocket with a strion hl in my belt holder for backup light. I have 4 streamlights but this one is my favorite by far. Love the PB charger for when I forget to put it on charge in the morning , I just toss the extra battery in and off to work. If I lose/break this I will immediately reorder. Only small gripe is the 10tap programming doesn't work on mine.... would be nice if it did cause sometime I would like it to come on low first when just casual foot patrolling around. but not enough of a problem to knock a star because its so awesome in every other aspect. Cops... just buy one.... wont be sorry.

A bit pricey
Great light. I recommend buying the package with the extra battery. Never know when you might need it. Also the beam on this light is actually really good, almost better than the Streamlight Stinger HPL, in my opinion. The bigger head of this flashlight makes it awkward to have in a light holder so it’s recommended you carry it in a pocket or bag. Great quality, great throw, brightness is as expected. A bit pricey but taking into consideration what you’re getting I think it’s worth it.

AWESOME light!
This light is INCREDIBLE! for years I have owned many flashlights from a well-known competitor. no more! this lamp is extremely light and compact, yet produces an INCREDIBLE amount of light. actually, if you are illuminating an object very close to you - this light is too bright. in all fairness, Streamlight's website and marketing information do indicate that this light is recommended for illuminating large areas and is best for a distance. also, from my experience, there is not a lot of warning that the battery is low. I did not notice any dimming, and suddenly the light stopped working and needed charging.
