Flip n Slide, Contact Lens Case, Flip Top, (four 3-packs, 12 cases)

About to buy my second package - I love these. I hate screw-top lids (although they are handy for carrying makeup, etc while traveling). These are so convenient. I've also used them in-flight - just make sure you close the top tightly so they don't leak. Not sure why they point out that you can turn them upside down to dry - mine seem to dry just fine just sitting there!The only thing I don't like is the color tends to bleed off. Be sure hold the edges so you don't get anything icky on your finger tip before sticking it in your eye! Otherwise, I love the fact that there IS color there - it helps me keep track of what side the right lens is in, since I'm half-blind.I buy small bottles of solution, since I feel like larger bottles last longer than they're sanitary, so every time I start a new bottle of solution, I start a new lens case.

So, I'm going abroad in the fall for 5 months, and I've been stocking up on things that I think I'm going to need. When I saw that I could get 12 pairs of contact lenses for around $10, I was very surprised and slightly cautious. I usually look for cheap items and have them not work out so I was a bit suspicious, but figured I'd at least try them out.I have to say, for hygienic and routine purposes, these are GREAT. Getting the opportunity to have these come in a pack of 12 and replace every month is a really great benefit, especially for the price. The ability to dry them and chuck them when I'm done with them makes it so much easier. I've only been using them for about a month or so but I'm very happy!I do not know about leakage. To be fair, they have only sat on my desk and been used there so I haven't knocked them over or done anything drastic to the cases. I may do a leak test soon to see how they hold up so that I can test them out for traveling, but as for now I'm very impressed. i will do my best to update this review in the fall when I am traveling so that I can see how they hold up!EDIT: I changed my review from 5 to 2 stars. I'm currently traveling in the fall and I cannot stand these. These are absolutely horrible when it comes to leaking. I cannot travel with them as whenever I put my contacts in, the solution NEVER stays in. Imagine being on a night bus in Vietnam and waking up blind just to find that your contacts have no solution inside. Also half my cases don't flip outward like the picture so I can't even dry the cases when I'm not using them. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it was so cheap. So sick of these.

I’ve bought this set about 5 times now- after discovering it on Amazon it has become my staple RGP contact lens case. The cost per case is really affordable so I don’t feel like I need to make it last longer. I change them out monthly without any guilt and my cases look overall cleaner and newer. In terms of features I love that the lid is attached. Trust me, dropping a lid when you have one contact off and another on sucks. I also like the bright color on the case so someone like me with horrible vision can easily put my contact in the right spot. With the cost, ease of use, and color differentiation I really can’t ask for more. Will continue to purchase for life.

Just arrived and I’ll update this as I’ve used them. SUPER easy to open clamshell packaging. Id say the easiest I’ve ever come across. A very interesting design that I’m surprised isn’t common! I use flip ones now but they’re not this easy open. With my keratoconus I’m literally blind before I put my contacts in so having something easy to open and use only using “feel” is very important to me! Very excited to try these!

I don't understand why these haven't taken off and I certainly don't get why some stores stopped carrying them. Your hands should be clean before removing or putting on your contacts. So the less touching of the case the better! You can open and close this case with one finger. It's so such a simple design and the fact that you can easily dry them before storing is a great feature. Why these haven't taken off I don't know, I purchased two years worth and hope they will be around when I'm out!

Holds a good amount of solution and the lids snap tightly.

I always use these, I’m not a fan of screw type and these are push close.

Flippin' the BEST!! The wells are fairly deep for their size. This is very important to me, as my lenses will rip if any spot is dry. The flip tops fit well and are easy to open. The containers seem very sturdy so far. I have yet to try them out on flights or travel, so I can't speak on how leak-proof they are. I've been extremely happy with this purchase, however!
