Holds Fabric Tight
I'm using the hoop for punch needle embroidery and you need your fabric to be held very tightly. This hoop delivers when the fabric is put in correctly. The label gives simple instructions to ensure success! And the price was great.

This small 4" hoop is good for isolating detail. Sturdy and easy to tighten, this hoop is exactly what I wanted.

A little odd
This is my first time using a Bates hoop. I'm used to the old wooden ones that don't have an odd lip to the inner hoop. The gap between the posts seems larger than the old style hoops but it does what it's made to. The slight scrunching of the fabric in the space doesn't affect anything at all. I like how they come in different colors, it tempts me to color code projects!
