Upsides: this stuff has a pleasant earthy scent and is visibly loaded with organic materials. It has a spongy texture but also coarser elements that you can feel between your fingers and help with aeration and drainage.Downside: being so peat heavy makes it water repellent and a bit of a pain to use (it’s higher in it than I realized or would want). So, 4 stars.
