Way over priced
If i had known the features and quality were so..... cheaply done, I'd of not purchased this thing. It should be in the $40-$60 range.

This is decent but it's no maverick
Make sure you read instructions before operating. I recommend for children. There is a lot of pros compared to the cons but it isnt like I wake up in the morning and want to go fly it it's just not very flawless like It looks like it is in the picture.

This Is Not The Drone You're Looking For
I'm a beginner, this is my first ever drone. However, I'm not foreign to remote control or radio control as surface RCs are my specialty. And as a beginner for drones, I can say that this is a bit tough to learn because you'll need to modulate the drone's pitch and roll as it is not set out of the box.It is good that for an entry-level drone like this, an app has been provided to be downloaded either via iOS or Android. I have an iOS in my iPhone 11 Pro and after I've downloaded this app, I can barely see some of the navigation controls on the screen when my screen is tilted to horizontal. And the app doesn't allow you to view the main menu the other way, mine can only be viewed when my phone is on its right side horizontal (your left hand touches the charging dock and right hand where the camera & speaker is). It is on this right hand side where you can't view some of the drone's navigational controls. Good thing you can still press on it to activate but the icon is barely viewable.Of course, there is a manual giving you instructions on how to download the app and pair the drone to your phone. However, it would have been nicer if the photos in the manual are a bit bigger so you can easily recognize the icons it's showing. While some of the steps are straight-forward, some are not. In short, it is not that user-friendly.I suppose what I sort of 'commend' with this product is that it is tougher physically than I had expected. As a beginner who initially tried this out indoors I can truly say that I can't count how many times I've crashed this on either the walls, furniture, and directly on the floor... and it still flies. It does have brackets you can press on and attach to protect the blades, which was worth having, though a couple of bumps and falls they can easily come off. They are not screwed or bolted in, just pushed into a tab by fingers. While this is just a small drone, I would caution you not to let your fingers (or worse, face) get caught in by the blades. It hurts. Don't ask me how I know. It comes with 2 spare blades in case your fingers win.Charging takes a while and the only indication that it's full is when the red light turns off. If you don't want to wait, a good 30mins of charging will probably give you maybe up to 20mins for practice (including stops, falls, crashes, and reflecting about life). There are 2 really small batteries which I think is plenty enough for beginners, especially if you take the time to charge 1 battery while using the other one and by the time the battery you're using burns out you'll have the other one. Then on and on it goes. All these I'm sharing are from my first flight with the drone and have been able to sort of stabilize its flight pattern. That's what I was still learning and didn't even pay much close attention to shooting photos or videos. But from what I can tell, quality is not something you'd want to shout out on top of the mountains. I shoot a lot with my DSLR and GoPro (and iPhone) and photos from this drone is ok. I rate this drone as 3.4, so 3 stars rounded off

First Need: Bat Reflexes
My first impression was so positive I thought to myself that if this thing gets off the ground at all, it’s the Bargain of the Century. However, after spending a few hours and a few batteries flying this, I have to moderate my opinion. It is a complete drone kit much more than I expected. It has a nice case, an extra battery (take that DJI) and a physical controller with joysticks and control buttons just as I’d expect to find on a drone kit costing 12x what this does as of this writing. Please see the image of the kit as arrived. Impressive. The extraordinary continued too. Both batteries charged up in a few hours using the supplied USB-A cable. I’m going to give the USB-A rather than USB-C a pass because of the completeness of this kit. Taking the drone, the controller, instructions and my phone out for flight proved that all isn’t honey and roses. The drone turns on with a single push of the on/off button instead of some arcane press/hold sequence (learn something, DJI). To my surprise, the controller synched right up to the drone. Audible beeps along with comprehensible LEDs kept me informed of the status (again, learn something DJI).Strangely, the manual up/down joystick would not take the drone off so I had to use the auto-takeoff button. I’m unclear if this is by design or a control defect. It took off which was the start of several hours of comedy and frustration. The liftoff was at high speed and at that same high speed the drone flew right toward my face. I barely had time to get to the joysticks and no reaction time before I had to duck. The drone crashed into a crepe myrtle behind me.OK, I need more space because the trim is so poor that it won’t hover with its factory settings. I moved to an more open area. This time I was ready with the trim set button so as soon as it took off, I was on the proper button to stop the drone’s mad backward path. It wasn’t enough but being forewarned, I pushed the up stick to clear the myrtle which ended up with a drone headed for the horizon. I pushed the recall button to no effect. An area search turned the drone up in high grass about 100 yards away. Why recall caused it to land isn’t clear.Another try had it crashing into a rose bush after some low level flying past a terrified neighborhood cat that showed up to see what the fuss was. Another interesting try ended with it landing into a rainwater collection barrel and submerging itself for a few minutes. Another flight whizzed past the cat crashing it into a lantana bush. The cat left. The water dunk didn’t do it any immediate harm. Please note that I’m an experienced and careful drone operator with dozens of hours of flying none of which has ever resulted in a crash or extended loss of control. After several expeditions and battery charges, I’ve yet to have a successful flight or even go to the point I’d try to take any images using the app. I never got it to hover. I considered using it in a town maybe 20 miles away that has some tree-free parks but I can’t, in good conscience, run this flyer in an area where my lack of control may run it into a family picnic. I think the many crashes or maybe the bath harmed the controls within the drone (I never had a soft landing) because toward the end it refused to re-trim or to obey the control sticks as it had when new.My advice if you wish to try this drone. First, acquire the reflexes of a bat. Second, only try this in a wide open field. Third, on the first flight, orient the done so it’s pointed W-E to your N-S to avoid it charging your face. The end of my series of comedy flights was seeing the drone, still close to me, stop responding at all to the controller, fly off and crash into the roof of the home south of me. As soon as the occupants return, I’ll go up there to fetch it but I suspect its brains are permanently scrambled. If it had arrived in a reasonable trim, it’d have been wonderful.
