This book has a more serious tone than Love Does and Everybody Always but is still filled with Bob Goff’s characteristic way of calling you to live differently.

Book arrived in a timely manner and was in great condition.

Bob Goff has this amazing way of taking real-life stories and weaving them into life lessons for people of all ages. In a world full of distractions, Bob gently reminds us through life stories and Biblical examples, of the things that may come. Everything from shame to pretending to be someone we aren't to insecurity and detachment. Bob can make me cry one minute and laugh the next as he tells stories of being inside prisons to work with inmates and a childhood story about some "shenanigans" he got into when he was 8 years old, and went a little more person about a broken relationship he has in his life (and yet drawing me near because I'm in that same boat).Bob talks about going back to our "true selves," the people we were created to be, and how to lean into God for the strength, perseverance, and purpose we need. He talked about having cynics in our lives, stating, "I don’t think this is an overstatement: Modern-day cynicism has likely cost the world hearts, lives, cures for diseases, and trillions of dollars. It has also ruined plenty of holiday dinners. Don’t be the cynic in your circles." It is so important to surround ourselves with people who pour into us, encouraging us to be the best version of ourselves we can be.Bob also asks great questions, urging you to be honest with yourself. Questions that get you to think through the distractions in your life, asking you what your attitude is toward struggles, and what you can do to change your outlook if you struggle with being pessimistic. Questions about how you handle yourself after mistakes are made.Bob talks about your phone and how distracting it can be. He gives practical things to do besides jump on your phone for instant gratification, and even goes as far as telling us to consider phone use as cheating on your family. Not gonna lie...that one hit home quite a bit.I love Bob. I love every single book he's ever written, and I always look forward to the encouragement and challenges he shares in his books.

Super book, highly recommend!

I had a chance to read an early release of the book. It was so great, that I have already ordered 3 more hardcopies, the Kindle version, and my favorite, the book on Audible read by Bob Goff himself. I had a 5-hour road trip this morning so I was able to travel with Bob as my traveling companion. I do have to admit that I had to keep rewinding the nuggets of knowledge, the gems of genius that Bob kept throwing out. It was as if Bob was speaking to me directly. I have so many projects up in the air, and new opportunities arise almost daily. So many people attempt to squelch the dreams that I share, but after reading the book I understand that I do not have to bring the cynics with me on my journey. Instead, I will bring Bob wherever I go. From him, I learn to, "Be captivated with purpose and I'll care less about everyone's predictions."I have learned over the years from Bob that not everyone sees things as I see things. To many of us, struggles and challenges instead look like opportunities. Instead, we must overcome the challenge of which opportunities align with our purpose our calling. Things that don't serve our purpose are a distraction.The challenge is to filter out the distractions while still being available for moments to fulfill our purpose or the purposes of others. I have always tried to serve others with the ministry of availability. As Bob puts it, "Availablity can launch more dreams than you can ever imagine." To me, that means not just my dreams but the dreams of others. Bob has done that for me. He has helped me to focus and indeed become UNDISTRACTED.

It normally takes me several weeks to read a book because I become distracted with other life events. Not with this book. I read it in less than a week. I looked forward to devouring serval pages per day. I had one problem with the book. It ended and had me wanting more stories.BRAVO BOB GOFF!Continue sharing stories that make us better people! I aspire to become an author who has a similar global impact that is heard around the world. LOVE DOES!

I love the way Bob writes. We have been Bob Goff enjoyers for a few years now and each book is a new delight with regaling stories which have you sitting back enjoying a laugh in the easy chair only to be ejected out of that chair straight into an AHA moment that rocks your world. If you want to be skyrocketed into your best life - give this book a read!

I’m challenged to write down the daily events that happen in my life when I read this book. Bob wonderfully weaves life stories into divine inspiration for readers. Many gold nuggets and shareable lessons in these pages. Becoming undistracted is an important value for humans who want to live larger lives.

Bob Goff is a favourite author of mine! Undistracted does not disappoint and is truly a page-turner! He explains how we as a society have been utterly distracted by things like technology, social media, news, worry, etc. Bob gives guidance on how we can live a more free and joyful life by recognizing those distractions and ridding ourself from their pull. Excellent read!

In a world of information overload and constant distraction we all need a reminder of our direction and purpose. Bob's stories always make for a captivating read and his applications and tools helped me refocus on the most important things.Read and Do!
