I bought these to go under a dress. Ok, so I'm 5'3", 27 in waist,120 lbs and do squats and lunges at the gym. The first time I bought a pair of these I got a small since that's what I normally buy in other brands. Wrong thing to do. I ended up giving them to my 10-yr-old niece because it is too much of a hassle to send back. I ended up getting a large the second time. Still a little snug but much better than the small. Also, I consider myself a pear snape so my bottom area is bigger than my top. If you have my body type, you need to order a larger than normal size.

These run very small. I buy these for my 12 year old that dances. She wears a size 00 in American Eagle Jeans and is a size adult medium in these shorts. They are her favorite shorts but I can’t see an adult wearing these. She’s 4’11” and weighs 98 lbs.

Comfortable. Does a good job of staying in place.
