I needed a really nice box to give my daughter her Grandmother's Pearls for her 30th Birthday. It used to be easy to find a nice box for pearls or other necklace. I wanted the box to showcase the pearls, but also something she could keep the pearls in on a daily basis. I waited too late to have a ton of choices, but this box was really beautiful. The pearls looked really pretty in the box. The outside is not really plush, but the inside is perfect. I do recommend this for price and quality.

Love it. So classy and presentable

This box is larger than I expected. Of course, the dimensions are clearly stated in the product information, but I didn't measure them out before purchasing. It will work perfectly for its intended use, I was simply surprised at how big it was, especially in thickness (2 inches is bigger than it sounds).The construction of the box itself is decent, and I would have given it five stars, except that the bow in the ribbon fell apart literally the moment I first touched it upon removing it from the plastic wrap the box came in. For me, this wasn't a very big deal because I planned to cut off the ribbon anyway. However, if the ribbon is a selling point for you, it is something to keep in mind.
