Won't work with Magnavox boomboxes
Beforr buying this, I posted this question:Q: Will this work with a Magnavox CD/cassette/stereo radio boombox? Most answers said probably- but it does not. The spacing on the "prongs" does not match that on the cord. Won't fit. Luckily not out too much cash.Edit 8/28/20: I was able to make this work by cutting a slot in the plug so that the spacing could be forced to match that on the boom box (see photo). Not a perfect solution but workable.

Doesn’t fit my portable radio.
I bought this for a blind friend to listen to books on tape on a portable radio I purchased on Amazon that did not have the cord with it.Someone must have returned it but kept the cord.I didnt check the box as she had gone into the hospital and then a rehab facility and wouldn’t be using it for awhile. The plug appears to be the correct fit but the holes for the pins are too close together for it to even connect. If youre in need of a replacement cord... BEWARE OF THE PIN AND PLUG SIZING.Guess I’ll end up getting rechargeable batteries for her radio that sits collecting dust. ☹️

Hard to find replacement cord
The two prongs may not have the two holes we normally see with plugs. Does not impact use, as those holes are for plug-retention bumps inside outlet to give resistance when cable is pulled. Otherwise, build quality looks good. (Ignore the eight light-dots, reflection from lights on the marble.)

False Advertisement, fake cable
I bought this thinking it was going to be the oem cable with the white strip on the side, nope, when it arrived i found it to be a cheap Chinese cable. I ordered 2 so it was not a mistake, there false advertisement costed me $10 that they bought for about $1 a piece i found out on a Chinese website. The plug part did not even have the safety y ground holes like all us standard plugs do, also the cable should be stiff but it is like a rubber band, it flops like a noodle. So if you want to spend your good money on cables, go somewhere else besides this seller. This is sad.
