Cuccio Pro powder polish dip starter kit is ideal for giving salon and spa clients up to 14 days of nail color, with the wearability of a gel and the durability of an acrylic. The powder polish produces a stronger, harder wearing finish than gel polish, and it’s easier to remove. The powder polishes are odorless and light on nails. Its quick and easy application provides a high gloss shine that lasts. This system uses specially formulated resins, state of the art activators, and finely milled, highly pigmented powders that create a super vibrant nail color. It can be applied over natural nails of any length, but it can also be applied over short or medium length nail tips for an extended look. LED or UV lamps are not required. This kit includes 5 x 0.5 oz powder polishes (Passionate Pink, French Pink, Clear, White, Silver w/ Silver Mica), 6 x 0.5 oz nail treatments, and 3 dipping trays.

Will purchase this again.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I’m going to this time. I ordered it on Tues and received it by that Fri. Everything was there. The product itself was more than I expected as far as the powder dip is concerned. I was expecting really small jars but it’s a great size. The instructions are easy to understand, especially if your are an ameture like me. I would recommend this to everyone and I will definitely purchase this again. Thanks! FYI. The last 3 pictures-girst 2 nail pics are from the first day the very last picture is a week later. Still going strong. I get a lot of compliments on how well they look asking me where I went.

Instructions were easy to follow
1 WEEK UPDATE - No lifting, no chipping! Still glossy and beautiful.2 WEEK UPDATE - 3 nails lifted near the cuticle where I applied the polish very close, but still no chipping. At this point they grew out enough & I'm going to re-do them. After comparing several brands of dip nail polish kits, I got this one and so far very impressed! Since it was my first time doing dip, I decided to try the dark pink solid color it came with as a practice run before doing pink/white. Instructions were easy to follow! Some points worth noting:1. After you apply the liquid, dip right away. The faster you dip the wet nail, the more even it is and fewer bumps to file down later!2. Instructions do not say this, but you apply liquid and dip one nail at a time.3. The box does not include a top coat if you want the glossy look. See one of the pics I posted where the thumb has been cured under an LED lamp with a gel top coat. You could also use a regular nail polish top coat but I wanted this to last a solid 3 weeks, so I went gel curing for 60 sec. I did step 7 after putting on the gel top coat and cleaning nail off with alcohol.4. Invest in good nail files, a nail brush to clean your under nails before and after, a clean old powder brush to wipe off excess dip polish, pure alcohol to sanitize the nail and then some lint free wipes to use with the alcohol before and after.5. Apply the liquid and do the dipping over the instruction sheet so if you drop any powder and want to save it, you can slide it off the paper when finished.Very happy with result. Didn't have to file as much as I thought! Now let's see if it lasts! Will update soon!!Last Update: I got really good at this and actually no longer do a gel top coat. I stop at step 5 according to the instructions and don't even file anything down. If you're very careful, the coats are nice and even with no caking clumps. I also skip the CLEAR powder over my pink and whites for a thinner, more natural look.

I love this product
Cuccio Pro Powder Polish Dip Dipping, Starter Kit I love this product.1. Item came much sooner than estimated, which was nice2. The instructions are thorough and very easy to understand for a first time user. The product definitely will thin out your natural nails but that is true of ANY brand of nail dipping product, so I wouldn't discount it based on that. It is jut the nature of this technique.3. I didn't have any issues with lifting until the 3/4 week after doing them, but that may be different depending on how much you do with your hands on a regular basis4. The kit comes with all the brush on coats needed to complete the manicure plus 5 dip powder colors- White, French Pink (very pale pink), Pink (very bright pink), Clear (for top coat), and a Silver with Sparkles. However, you can layer them in unique ways or also mix the powders themselves before using them to create additional colors. Here, I did 2 layers of white and one layer of the French pink (in lieu of the clear) and got a really nice pale but opaque pink color. I also decided to try mixing the powders before application, I mixed the bright pink and the silver, I got a really pretty mauve/purple color with subtle sparkles in it. (I also added a picture of the silver by itself so you can see how the pink completely changed the end result.)I would recommend to anyone looking to try this at home, instead of paying salon prices.

Extra items needed
I’ve been getting dip every 3 weeks for the past 4 years and I can truthfully say this stuff is THE REAL DEAL! I will say you definitely need more than just the kit to get it right. Side note, french manicure is the hardest dip to do which is why it costs more to do at salons. Therefore, it’s going to take some time to learn how to perfect it. First of all, to get this just right, if you have dip on already you’ll need to soak your nails in acetone and cotton balls using the cotton balls to rub off the dip. This will take a long time. I bought these nail clips to help soak the dip I had on off and it took about 25 minutes to soak I then had to use a rough nail file to get it completely off. I then followed the directions for the application process. Like it says in the directions, you need to buff out your nails after the last step. This is very important to get the smooth, thin nails you want. To do this I again used the rough nail file. Then I finished off with an Essie shiny top coat. With these added items the whole thing would realistically cost you about $50 and takes about 2 hours to get just right. Also, to get perfect french dip lines you can buy nail stencils and or a curved nail scraper to help you get the perfect width and arc for the white. All in all, I absolutely love this product and never plan on spending $40 at a nail salon again🙌🏼 💙

Excellent
excellent piece of kit for a nails beginner like myself. After years and years of having others do my nails and paying a fortune, decided to finally take the plunge and do it myself. This powder system couldnt be easier. Having said that my first attempt was rubbish but my second and third are great. Being a powder providing you dont let the gel 2&4 get too thick you get a lovely even surface that doesnt require much after filing and buffing....will definately stick with this system/refills etc as I am saving myself a fortune

Defective glass bottles
Unfortunately not been able to use as the layered gel step 3 bottle broke when opening cutting my hand and spilling a glue like fluid everywhere in the process. Please be careful when opening these bottles.

DAMAGED
Product arrived as shown in picture, smashed bottles and contents leaked out into box. I asked for a refund and I struggled to get money back from seller and seller did not communicate with me very well. Luckily, amazon helped me retrieve my money.
