Ivy and Bean Take the Case (Book 10) (Ivy & Bean)

Oh my heck, I love these books! I ordered Book 10 for my daughter as a Christmas present, and when it arrived I decided to read the first chapter just to "get a feel" for it. Ten chapters later I had finished the whole thing; it was hilarious! Annie Barrows has once again struck a clever balance between Ivy and Bean being innocent children and mischievous "nutballs" (as my daughter says). Can't wait for my eight-year-old to dive in.

My 9-year-old daughter loves all the Ivy and Bean books. She's not a big reader if she doesn't have to, but these books keep her interested from beginning to end. Once this one came in, she went to her room and read for hours.

At least it is according to my six year old... In light of all the reviews saying the mystery wasn't solved, I felt like I needed to put in my two cents. Disclaimer: I haven't read a single Ivy and Bean book, but my six year old devours them. After reading all the reviews saying the mystery was unresolved, I was very curious to hear my daughter's take on it. As soon as she finished the book she started laughing and said, "It was Ivy doing it the whole time!" So... Either she misconstrued the story, or all of these adults did. Regardless, she loved the story (as usual) and that's all that matters to me!

My 8 year old love to read these. It's the only set of books she has chosen to read all on her own without me harping all the time at her to read. They are silly books and clean content.

I bought this book for my 10 year old. She’s loving and so excited while reading the book. The book is in perfect condition though some of the pages are folded I don’t consider it until the pages are able read .

Bean gets super sleuth training while watching a classic detective movie with her mother just in time to solve the case of the mysterious growing rope which is taking over Pancake Court. Will Ivy and Bean find out who's pulling the strings, umm rope or will this unlikely duo discover sometimes it's OK to not know? I like this book series because it educates girls about important women in history and science subtly during the course of the stories without blatantly spewing boring facts. I highly suggest you read these books to your little girl. They are the perfect bedtime stories for girls ages 5 years old and up.

Our 6 year old daughter LOVES this book series! She has read them and re-read them and re-read them again! They are a pretty easy read with a little challenge to them.

"It was very good and um, I like that Bean at the start of it, ah, was watching a movie at the beginning. And, seven falls sounds like a very good lead to a spy when you grow up book. And, actually, all of the Ivy and Bean books are very good. I read them all the time with my mom." - age 6

I started out with reading this series to my little one as bedtime stories. The plan was 1 chapter a day! But she loved the stories so much that she always asked for an extra chapter or two! She loved listening to stories but was NOT interested in reading them herself. But after a couple of books she loved the books so much she began wanting to read them to me. She finished the series reading them to me!!!

I did not see this book personally, but my daughter in law said the book had "real letters" which my granddaughter loved. I have order 2 more books from this series.

Como regalo para mi hija de 9 años, resultó perfecto y le ha encantado.Ya había leído varios tomos en la versión español (Eva y Beba) y le van mucho sus historias. Así que probé con la versión en inglés.El nivel de ingles, se adapta más o menos bien a niñ@s con un nivel de Movers (Cambridge), es fácil de seguir, aporta vocabulario nuevo pero a la vez es intuitivo y no impide el seguimiento de la historia.Son libros más bien finitos y la historia es el típico libro de aventuras de dos mejores amigas de unos 8 años aproximadamente.

Offert a une fille de 8 ans, elle adore. Elle a lu et relu toute la collection. Une valeur sure pour les jeunes lectrices.Ce livre est en anglais.
