Tempered Black Glass Cutting Board – Long Lasting Black Ink Glass – Scratch Resistant, Heat Resistant, Shatter Resistant, Dishwasher Safe. (Large 12x16")

I bought it to use as a cutting board and for presentation purposes in my food videos. The new knives I bought have given it a few scratches, but more importantly it doesn’t have any ‘give/friction’ if that makes sense when cutting. It’s actually harder to cut things (veggies, meat) for normal food prep on this, but it’s gorgeous so buy it. I also have a 2 burner glass stove and it still at the same height as the glass portion which is nice.

Received with an inch of scratch. So much for scratch resistant. Tried to contact company but no response. The item is like glass, black and always dirty. Would never use as a cutting board as it would slide all over.Black tempered glass a better option.

This is now what it says. Yes it is tempered. Yes it is black. It is not scratch resistant. It is painted on the underside. It arrived and it looked like a couple of bubbles in the glass. On closer inspection, the underside had been scratched and appeared to look like someone had tried to cover it with black paint with a paintbrush.I am still waiting for a refund as of19/07/23 and I ordered it 2 months ago today. Very, very disappointed.

TRES DECUE

Been looking for a black cutting board to go with granite counters and black appliances. This one is perfect. Attractive, and I’m amazed at how easy it is to keep clean and shiny. Used for keeping the countertops clean during cooking. It is not used for chopping since glass boards dull knife blades.
