Urban CoCoWomen's Basic Versatile Stretchy Flared Casual Mini Skater Skirt

So, there were a couple of things I was worried about. One, the material. It’s SLIGHTLY sheer, but only if you’re holding it to light. I usually wear bike shorts under skirts and dresses so it’s not a problem. Really not very see through. It’s kind of a sporty type material so it’s fine for a casual outfit. Two, sizing. My waist is like, 33-34-35-36 or so (depends on the day…. Y’all know how it is) I bought a large. Large is very comfortable, not too tight. That being said, the material is very stretchy so I could probably go with a medium as well. Three, The cut. I have broad shoulders and narrow hips so I wanted a skirt that would flare to kind of give the illusion that my hips were wider than they are and my shoulders more narrow. This skirt absolutely does that. AND SOMEHOW when I look at myself from the side, this skirt makes it look like my butt curves out more flatteringly as well!! I bought the “long” style. I’m 5’3” and it goes down to just before my knee. I’m very pleased. I’m heavier than I used to be but this skirt is very flattering on me, in my opinion.

It's a great skirt, fits perfect, falls right above the knees with a snug and stretchy waist band. I only wish the color was just a bit lighter in shade. By the product photo, it looks fairly bright with an easily seen pattern; but it was much darker in shade when I opened it. I almost thought it was a solid color when I first opened it. The pattern is there; but the colors are just darker than what I imagined from the product photo. I'll still keep it because it fits great, and the color is still ok.

I love this skirt!! It’s so cute, comfortable, and STRETCHY! It’s now a favorite item in my closet. It does kind of ride up a bit in the back if you wear it up to your stomach, but if you wear it to lower you should be fine.

I ordered the red plaid and the black at the same time. Both are mediums because I have a 28” waist. Turns out the waist band is so stretchy you don’t have to be super accurate about that. Notice there are 2 sizing charts. One is “mini” and other is “midi”. I don’t know how to tell ahead of time which is which, but the plaid one fits the “midi” measurements. It’s 21” long and goes all the way to my knees. May be good news for those who like the look, but don’t want a mini-skirt, but if you do want a mini, this is not it.

My daughter ordered this for her 5th grade graduation that's coming up so whenever she puts on the whole outfit and when her shoes come and everything then we will submit a photo but she tried it on and it fits perfect very cute.

I love this skirt! The material is very nice, definitely textured. Arrived right on time. It actually might’ve come early! The flare on the skirt is wonderful. Doesn’t look tacky or unnatural when standing and has a beautiful spin. Only complaint is the color. I ordered this skirt for a Speak Now eras outfit for my Taylor Swift concert. I ordered a shirt of the same color (the pictures had identical colors; they were both listed as lilac).The shirt came and it was definitely purple. The skirt however was verging on pink in comparison. Both were beautiful on their own, but the skirt color is definitely not true to the image.

The hem rests at the knee. Fits well around the waist. Weighs a little more than tennis and golf skirts but no biggie. Worth the money.

It's a little shorter than I expected but I love it!

this is the second skirt I've ordered from this brand, the first was the velvet mini (in size large), and comparatively this skirt (size medium, midi length) has more stretch in the waistband. the length is lovely, and worn at my waist falls a little longer than the velvet mini worn at my hips. it's a great length, and a very comfortable fabric. it is indeed noticeably textured as other reviews noted, but I don't see this as a flaw. it is a brighter red than I expected, but not extremely so. in terms of transparency, it seems more opaque than the first skirt I ordered, and the fabric seems thicker and more substantial.it is worth noting with this particular skirt, given the stretch in the fabric, I could have sized down and gotten a small for a closer fit at my natural waist. however, with the medium I can easily wear it at my hips or high-waisted.I had intended to get the black version of this midi, and the fit is nice enough that I may get it as well when it restocks. this brand does live up to its hype, imo. the skirts are basic wardrobe staples, and seem sturdy enough, but time will tell with regard to that.update - when I saw the black midi restocked I ordered it. and having been wearing it, as well as the red midi and the black crushed velvet mini, my conclusion here is that these skirts are excellent given the price. they're all incredibly comfortable but about these midis specifically, the length is perfect. maybe a bit short for some but I'd say that's subjective and depends on height and personal comfort zones. the waistband yes, does move. the elastic is not stitched into the band, which is fine. it's a very minimal adjustment to fix the elastic. overall, I love these skirts. very comfortable, opaque, versatile. at this price point I'm not expecting to spend the rest of my life with them but that's ok.

I'm 5'7 152 pounds. 34 waist. I bought size large. Fits perfect. Will buy more colours. It stretches a lot.looks exactly like shown. Fast shipping.

Purchased to use as part of a ‘Friends’ themed outfit as Rachel Green. Very cute and flirty, but beware if you have curves or a butt- it’s definitely on the shorter side and you’ll need some bike shorts underneath!

Me encantó!! Por el precio me parece una linda falda; también la tela me parece bien. Ocupé la falda para un disfraz de Minnie Mouse y la verdad es que se ve muy linda, pedí talla grande, tomando en cuenta las medidas de la tabla, yo tengo 33" de cintura y la falda grande marcaba 31" pero no fue ningún problema, no me apretaba para nada, por lo que sí debe venir ligeramente más grande, pero es muy poca la diferencia de la medida marcada.También lo largo me parece bien, pedí la mini; debo decir que en las fotos que muestro, yo recogí un poco más la falda porque me gusta más corta y tenía licra abajo, pero sí eres de cadera y trasero grande como yo, el largo está bien; es que siempre sufro porque se levanta más de la parte de atrás, pero en este caso no fue así, me parece un largo decente. De cualquier manera usar una licra debajo de la falda nunca está de más para sentirse más segura.
