This device works great, smooth transition and the video quality is the same as a direct connection.I left a review previously complaining about flickering video, however this turned out to be due to a low quality HMDI cable. Since replacing the cable the dvice has been working perfectly.

I have tried and failed to justify the cost of this. The spec is very good and since I only have 4k monitor attached probably a bit over the top for me. It is great to have options for remote and hotkey swap which work well. My previous cheap box only had a manual button. It is solidly made, and it works smoothly. You do have to power it so allow for that.Overall: if money is no object, this will not disappoint. But it is not good value for what is a simple function.

This switch is easy to use and easy to set up. A usb power cable is supplied so you can power the switch direct from your computer or any USB port. There’s a keyboard and mouse plug on one side of the switch as well as an hdmi port to feed to your monitor. Shame there are no hdmi cables but not really a problem. Two usb cables are provided to feed from the usb3 ports on the switch to the USB ports on your computers. Plug your two hdmi cables from either device into the switch and your good to go. If you want to use the ir remote an ir cable os provided to put the sensor somewhere your remote will see it easily. Perfect if like me you have the switch tucked under a desk. I’ve used the switch to feed both my laptop and computer to one monitor when I’m working from home, I can easily jump back and forward between the laptop or pc on one screen now which works great for me. The image appears instantly and I don’t see any loss in quality. Very happy with this switch.

Yeah, it's well designed device with solid build and great specifications, but... I tried to get it working with NVIDIA 3080Ti and my 4k LG monitor to no avail. Familiar problem (to some) of screen flickering every few seconds makes the device unusable.Tested with multiple PC's, all available display mode combinations (RGB vs. ycbcr444, 8-bit colour depth, HDR and no HDR) and the device works very well indeed at 4k @30Hz resolution and below. From 4k@60Hz up, however, you get occasional flicker and at 120Hz that becomes unworkable.Yes I have updated all my drivers, flashed bios and used brand new 8k HDMI cables from single provider (before you ask). All cables worked when connected directly to monitor.I also tried two separate SW21H21 devices, and one SW41H21 device - the same issue persists, though the 4-port device seems to be more stable than the 2-port version.I recon there is a flaw in hardware design that may well be addressed in future releases, but for the time being vendor is hoping most users will stick to 2k resolution and never come to notice.Hope this helps.

I bought the first one back in September 2022 and it started to play up in June 2023 before completely failing in July 2023. I ordered a replacement thinking I was probably unlucky but it turns out I was lucky as the second device failed within 3 weeks with the exact same problem, HDMI swithing but no signal being passed, or an image that repeated flickers. I replaced all cables and swapped the connections but the fault always remained on the monitor output when using PC2.It's a shame, if it worked as advertised it is a great idea and when it working it was faultless. But 2 failing in 11 months is not acceptable.I can't recommend this product and I won't be purchasing anything else from this brand based on this experience.

This looks like a simple KVM switch that is a tad pricey, that is so wrong on every level. It is extremely well designed and has simplified a lot of complex handling of the inputs to outputs at extremely high datarates of up to 48Gbps. This is extremely good value for money. The Audio handling alone is very good It supports fantastic audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, DTS X,Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, PCM7.1. The video handling is 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz with 3 modes of control - Hotkey, IR remote or Button control. The screen, keyboard and mouse can then be effectively switched between two computers. Great easy to setup and use. Stunning little switch that has amazing picture and audio quality, a must buy. Andrew

This product looked ideal for me. Great materials, compact and latest tech standards I was looking for.So far so good...What I got was a product that did not output video of any kind. Tried an assortment of cables (new and old) but just no video output. Tried resetting device too, but still no joy. Decent quality control is sadly missing from this company's processes, which you'd think would be there for the price I paid.To conclude, I sent it back and got a refund !!

This excellent HDMI splitter arrived well packed with for once a good set of instructions. Worth noting that no HDMI cables are supplied. USB charging cables are supplied. Feels well made and robust. This kit allows the user to connect 2 computers or laptops with one set of controls (mouse and keyboard) and a display monitor. Can be used for gaming too with the fast data transfer. I have used to connect a laptop and pc to same monitor. Can switch between both quickly and easily. Makes working easier too.Pleased to recommend.

Was soll ein KVM-Switch machen? Man steckt einen Monitor dran, und eine Tastatur und eine Maus, und zwei PCs. Und dann schaltet man hin und her. Dieser KVM-Switch macht genau das richtig gut. Er kommt sehr kompakt daher, das gleiche Gehäuse kann man z. B. unauffällig neben oder auf den Fuß des Monitors legen. Dann kommt man mit einem kurzen Kabel zum Monitor hin und kann Maus und Tastatur direkt anstecken. Die Umschaltung erfolgt entweder direkt am Gerät, über Hotkeys oder über eine beiliegende Fernbedienng.Besonders gut: der KVM-Switch braucht keine eigene Stromversorgung, er wird über die USB-Ports der angeschlossenen PCs versorgt. Das spart ein weiteres Steckernetzteil und weitere Kabel.Ebenfalls gut: HDMI-Audio wird durchgereicht - der jeweils aktive PC kann auch Töne über den Bildschirm ausgeben (wenn der das kann) - das wollte ich, spart extra Lautsprecher am Platz.Mit 4K in 60 HZ funktioniert der Switch problemlos, mehr kann mein Monitor nicht, konnte ich also nicht testen.In meinem Szenario hab ich einen Lenovo Laptop mit Thunderbolt-4-Dock und einen Mini-PC angeschlossen. Der Laptop geht manchmal beim Umschalten in den Standby - da hab ich noch nicht verstanden, warum - das ist etwas lästig. Die Umschaltung dauert mal 2-3 Sekunden, das ist für meine Zwecke in Ordnung. Eine Gamingtastatur von Corsair kam leider mit dem KVM-Switch nur im sogenannten BIOS-Mode klar, wenn man sowas hat, könnte das also ein Problem bedeuten. Ich verwende aber eigentlich sowieso eine andere Tastatur - mit "normalen" (einfachen) Tastaturen hab ich keine Probleme beobachtet.Runde Sache, kann ich definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Czytając opinie byłem mocno sceptyczny. Oczywiście, później mogą wystąpić jakieś problemy, ale na ten moment podłączyłem laptopa i komputer, wszystko działa w natywnej rozdzielczości monitora 5120x1440 60Hz, przełączanie działa. Działa też USB logitecha i przełącza bez problemu mysz i klawiaturę. Dla mnie bomba!

Il s'agit d'un kvm assez lourd avec plusieurs connectiques fournies. J'apprécie le port usb en plus car c'est assez rare de nos jours !Le kvm m'a permis de raccorder mon pc, mes écrans, clavier etc sans trop de difficulté. Plus de fils qui trainent, plus de place, permet de switcher rapidement, très bonne qualité de rendu.Une télécommande est incluse dedans ce qui apporte un plus et le contrôle à distance fonctionne très bien.Le seul point négatif, la notice en anglais.Le prix certes un peu cher mais pour un bon kvm ou d'entrée de gamme c'est le prix. La qualité est également au rendez-vous.

The media could not be loaded.  Lo primero que diré es que el precio puede parecer excesivo ye ha hecho dudar de si poner las cinco estrellas o quitarle una.Pero al final he decidido dejarlas porque me ha facilitado la vida, y de una manera tan sencilla, que creo que se lo merece.Siempre he tenido que estar jugando con la conexión entre mi ordenador personal y el del trabajo. No es que sea una tarea ardua pero si tienes en cuenta que se acaban liando los cables HDMI de las pantallas con los del teclado y otros que tengo en el escritorio, se facilita mucho la conexión de los ordenadores.Ahora mismo simplemente pulsando el botón del switch consigo conmutar rapidente entre un pc y el otro sin perder nada de calidad.Lo he estado probando con distintos juegos con el pc de casa, que considero que es donde más podría fallar, y no se pierde nada de resolución a simple vista, y lo que me preocupaba más, no he detectado latencia alguna.El switch es muy simple de instalar y viene con todo lo necesario excepto los cables HDMI. Es cierto que la pantalla tiene sus propio cable pero necesitaremos otros dos para las entradas auxiliares (en mi caso para los dos ordenadores).Los materiales denotan buena calidad y algo que tambien me preocupaba no se calientan nada.Y es que no solo podremos usar la pantalla con varios ordenadores sino que también nos permitirá hacer el uso del teclado, raton y un puerto USB entre los ordenadores sin tener que estar quitando los cables. Esto a priori puede pasar algo no tan importante pero cuida el desgaste de los conectores de nuestros dispositivos alargando también su vida (aunque esté no es su principal función).En resumen un capricho innecesario que nos facilitara la tarea de conmutar las pantallas pero que si no fuese tan caro sería un si seguro en la compra de cualquier setup que se precie.

Bei Amazon bestellt und zügig geliefert, kommt das Gerät in einem stabilen Metallgehäuse daher.Bei mir werden alle USB-Devices erkannt - Tastaturen von Cherry aber auch Lenovo sind vollständig nutzbar und auch USB-Sticks können am Switch eingesteckt und mit allen verbundenen Computern genutzt werden. (Die zuvor versuchte Lösung mit einem YOUTINGHDAV-8201 hatte keine meiner USB-Tastaturen erkannt und mußte returniert werden.)Der Switch funktioniert bis zu Auflösungen von 1920 x 1200 auch ohne externes Netzteil.Weiterhin wird das Gehäuse des Switches bei normalen Bildwiederholraten nur wenig warm.Die Bildqaualität unterscheidet sich dabei nicht von einer Lösung ohne Switch - zumindest kann ich keine Unterschiede erkennen.Ein paar Negativpunkte will ich aber nicht verschweigen:Die Umschaltdauer ist mit mind. 2 Sekunden nicht besonders flott - möglicherweise liegt das am fehlenden EDID.Und die Umschaltung über die Tastatur funktioniert nicht!Das ist ein bißchen ärgerlich; der Switch ist aber in Reichweite und ich kann per Hand umschalten.
