Not very sturdy.
This poll works but I'm really not expecting it to last for very long pretty flimsy. But for $14 it'll work for now. I don't believe it'll hold up through next winter. It was cheap and it's doing the job for now so if you can spare $14 go ahead and get it.

You really will need to reinforce these
These are basic, cheap plastic poles to support your boat cover.They do work decently well for what they do - which is to hold your boat cover up so that the rain doesn't pool on top of it.The problem is, they just aren't very strong.The weak point is in the joints where each plastic piece slides into the piece next to it. If any pressure or weight is applied to the pole, it will bend at that connection and it's only a little bit of plastic holding it in place.Both of mine toppled over within the first couple weeks of holding up my boat cover.I have reinforced one of the poles with a piece of old rebar I had sitting around and some duct tape. Now it is pretty darn strong!The other one that also bent and broke, I taped tightly in a spiral with duct tape and it seems to be holding up OK.Just don't plan for these poles to hold up any kind of weight without you reinforcing them somehow.

Not very sturdy
Bought these to hold up a canvas boat cover on a small speedboat. Worked good for a few weeks, but didn’t hold up well to heavy rains/ snow.

Falls over...every time.
This is a very lightweight plastic, and fell over every time we tried to use it. I was the height we needed...if it would only stay upright.

Cracked after having a month
Disappointed in these. One pole cracked after one hard rain.
