MZJ-400A Contactor Solenoid Universal 48V 400A Compatible With Heavy Duty Golf Cart

The part is great but I would like to see more care in shipping these. They were in two small boxes and placed in a bag that arrived opened and the boxes torn. I found no damage but could have been better packed.

Installed in on my EzGo Express L6 golfcart due to a 72v lithium battery upgrade. The new battery gives off quite a bit of amperage and I was concerned about the OEM solenoid being able to keep up. The new one works like a champ with no problems. You will hear a loud click when you turn the key, but I like it becuase it let's me know weather the battery is powered on or not.

Worked perfectly on my Yamaha 48v golf cart

I have an 2007 Ezgo TXT. I upgraded the motor and the controller, which meant I needed a contactor upgrade. So far, so good. It definitely makes a loud click when activated, but apparently all heavy duty solenoids do that. If you know electric golf carts, the solenoids are commonly worn out as they get used every time the accelerator is pushed. The loud click makes for easy diagnosis if the cart breaks down. Would be able to determine if it is the contactor righ away. Hope that helps, good luck

Excellent quality product.

The solenoid arrived broken. It's a shame because this is a $50.00 part. I was able to change out the rear cover from the bad one on my cart. It fixed the issue and is working great. Seems like a good product with poor packaging. 😕

Problem for this order was actually a defective ignition key switch, but I wanted to upgrade the solenoid any way. Good replacement for the oem solenoid.
