Such a cool plant and this is the correct species for a Resurrection plant.
I really enjoy this plant, and I'm impressed that the plant species is the correct one for the Resurrection plant. It's not really the True Rose of Jerico - that is a different species - but they look so similar I doubt most people would care. I gave one of the two I bought to my daughter so she could show it to her family - she's seen mine. Mine was a really slow starter. I bought a circular glass bowl which I think is too small - so it got the inside of the plant solid green within 24 hours but I'm still struggling with the outer leaves - they just won't green up very well - I've tried to make sure this is getting plenty of distilled water on the outside like I have in the past. It's next to a sunny window and has grow lamps. But I really was impressed with the quality of this plant - none of the ones I've had before greened up this well, but the other species does turn green a little faster. Love this little guy.

Cool
It’s my first time seeing one so it was interesting. Really cool to experience. The water wicks up the plant opening it.

While I do love the plant.....
While I do love the plant, a powder mold keeps showing up. I use distilled water, change it daily and once a week I let the plant dry out fully. I have had to cut off more than half of the plant due to the mold and dead spots. These spots were almost black upon arrival and never opened up. I'm hoping I can make it bounce back

Mine is Beautiful!
I actually put mine in a bowl of distilled water for about 15 minutes. After that I placed it on a bed of pebbles in a somewhat medium size container/bowl. I added distilled water to that, but just enough to cover the pebbles so that the root ball was sitting in water. It was fully opened in about 3-4 hours. If the plant still has brown leaves just mist it with some distilled water. However, you MUST change the water everyday until your plant becomes acculated to it's environment. I'm actually training mine to stay fully submerged in a giant glass goblet. It's beautiful.

Don't waste your money
It arrived in a bubble bag with pieces of the plant all broken up (like a shaker of thyme or oregano had been sprinkled in there) as pictured with more debris under the plant ball. That should have been a red flag especially given that it came with NO Instructions and NO Labeling-- just arrived in this clear bubble bag.Looked up how to grow or resurrect this plant online and followed placing in shallow dish, don't drown it, allow to dry out every so often...that didn't work. Tried in hydroton so it's never sitting in water, that didn't work. The best the plant ever looked was in pic 4 for about a day. I guess I should have returned it immediately when it arrived looking like that but they make it sound like this plant lives through anything - clearly that is not true.

Amazing!
I was flabbergasted by this little plant. I used it on a Sunday morning as an illustration as to how Christ was killed but came back to life & how we who are dead in trespasses and sin but are made alive in Christ when we accepted Him as Savior and Lord! Worked just like it was supposed to.
