Private Island Wizard Hat - Blue

This hat is great! Fits my little 5 year old granddaughter's head perfectly and she "Loves" it. The hat is well made and should take a lot of wear. It's soft, yet it stands up and holds it's shape and it looks great! I ordered the wizard magician magic light and sound toy wand to go with the hat and have also ordered a blue wizard cape to complete her costume. This is a really nice costume piece and I highly recommend it if your child or grandchild is into play with costumes.

These hats look nice, but you need to be careful one of three I purchased fell apart.

My daughter wanted to be a wizard for Halloween. We ordered this inexpensive hat on Sunday night (from their store in FL) and it arrived in Utah on Wednesday in the mail, with standard shipping - great service! The hat is great for only $2. My daughter is 10, and it is a tiny bit big for her head, but stays on well. We may end up putting a little bit of tissue paper in the hat to keep it standing up, but it does an okay job of that on its own. The only complaint she had was that the stitching where the silver band attaches to the blue hat was "itchy" so I quickly sewed on some fabric over the seam, and the problem was solved. Now she loves it and wore it around the house all day while waving her light up wand that we got from Amazon for $7 - she loves that too! She already had a cloak, so you gotta love getting a costume for less than $10 total.

This hat is not made well. The moon and star appliques were practically falling off when I received it. It also does not stand straight up on its on and bends in half. This is not up to wizard standards. Not a good product.

I ordered this wizard hat for my grandson to go along with a sorcerer's wand I had picked up somewhere else. The hat arrived quickly, in good condition, and looked just like its on-line photo. The hat is of good quality and for the price, it's a real winner in my book!

When I bought this it was advertised as something that would fit adults and kids alike. Well, I have a pretty big head and this thing was big on me. Not sure whose freak of a kid's head this fit when they sized it, but I feel really bad for that kid's prospects of ever finding other hats that fit.

I ordered one of these hats a few months ago and was very happy with it. I just ordered another to give as a gift. The more recent version is very poorly made with poor stitching and inferior material. The hat body and trim are made of scratchy material, which has an asbestos-like feel to it, and the hat is lined with a foam that was already falling apart when we received it. It is very disappointing and I do not feel safe letting my child play with it and would be embarrassed to give as a gift.

I bought it because my son wanted the mickey wizard hat and its very expensive but this one made him so happy and exited like the other and is not expensive and exactly what I was looking for my 4 yrs. old to play at the house. Is big for a child head but still good.
