It's def useful to help keep smoke out of the eyes. But the frames / arms appeared to be adjustable but it just also became loose way too quickly. Unfortunately the time to return them and exchange for new ones expired.

This was given as a gift, but loved by the recipient. I keep getting pictures of him using them, particularly touching the grill and other hot things with the gloves, so they must be pretty good!
