Q: Does it have back support?

It is a soft pack and has no frame system. The waist belt does place the weight more on the hips rather than on the back. It is quite comfortable.

Q: Does it come with a rain cover?

No there wasn't a rain cover that came with mine that I ordered. Although the material is water proof I'm sure already.

Q: Why is the sternum strap installed near the bottom of the back straps and not at the chest area

I figured it was just a waste strap.

Q: Can I put a water bladder in front pocket without getting rest of pack sweaty?

I put mine in the back zipper compartment in the laptop sleeve and it works great.
