Good lamp
Brought for my daughter as a evening lamp that she can use to charge her phone at the same time. She is very pleased with it. Its lightweight and slim and has a dimmable feature. Overall great value

Good quality
Love this lamp, it looks so sleek and high quality in person just like the product pictures ! I use it every day on my desk and iv’e had no issues with it so far. Love that it can also be used as a ring light due to because the flexible head - perfect for online team meetings! There are deffo other lamps out there that are just as good and slightly cheaper , but if you’re set on this one I've had no issues so far and highly recommend!

Pretty awful
The media could not be loaded. Got the lamp delivered today, the plug is not a UK one so it wasn't good for that, plugged it in to a USB on my monitor and it works pretty well to begin with. Downside is that when a phone is charging on the wireless pad, the light flickers which is very annoying, it doesn't turn off and the buttons all have delays when trying to use it. Wouldn't recommend.

Well featured with a good array of brightness levels and colour temperatures
This is a rather handy LED desk lamp for my home office, which also supports wireless charging of mobile phones, and that is always handy, as it means you have less clutter on your desk and also has a USB A port for additional use, as well as the Qi charging. This lamp is not rechargeable as some are, but corded with a decent length of cable for plugging in, though it’s a cable only with a USB A end, so will need plugging into a USB charger socket, which is not supplied. I would have preferred it to be a UK plug, but there you are, I guess this way they can be sold in any country, so easy from a manufacture point of view. The lamp also has a timer function, which is a bit niche, but if you go to sleep with your light on, then it could be handy that it will turn the light off after 30 or 60 minutes, and could be particularly useful for children too I guess. For a slimline lamp it is very well featured, with five types of light colour ranging from 2700K to 6000K (cool to warm), so a light temperature for every need or preference. It also has a very handy adjustable brightness setting with ten brightness levels to choose from according to your needs. I’m a real fan of brightness variability, as a suffer from photosensitive migraines which are triggered by light and I often cannot bear bright light, so having ten brightness levels is perfect for me. It also means you can put the lamp on a low setting if used as a bedside lamp, and it won’t disturb your partner if the light remains on.The lamp has a good degree of angle flexibility, so it’s easy to position the light to direct where you need it, with the lamp itself being well balanced so it keeps upright in use, no matter what angle is chosen. The touch controls work effectively and I’m pleased to see a button for power and a button for brightness, not one button for all. Overall this is a very nice useful lamp. The quality is good with the main features providing useful functionality and at £27 at the point of review seems fair value for money to me. Overall it’s four stars fri me, primarily as I would have preferred a more robust power cable arrangement.

Good but a couple of drawbacks
I have been using a Taotronics LED reading light for several years now, so how well this Herlly light stacks up will be coloured by having used something similar for quite a while. The look and feel of the Herlly light gives a good initial impression. Construction is solid and the various joints articulate well. The light stands firmly on the desk and all the controls are clearly labelled and intuitive. Essentially, you get a flexible arm with a 33cm long, multi-bulb LED light that can be set to 5 levels of brightness and 5 colour temperatures (3800-4200K).Both the brightness and colour modes are 'stepped' rather than being continuously adjustable, but the scale of adjustment is reasonably good for lights in this price range. The presence of a Type-A USB socket on the stand is a common feature and allows you to charge devices from the light such as headphones, phones, etc. The stand also incorporates a QI wireless charging pad which I have used with my iPhone XS (in an Apple silicone case). The pad gets warm and doesn't seem especially fast compared with a dedicated Anker wireless charging pad I use, plus you have to be fairly exact with the position of whatever you're charging. The light does however come with a 30 or 60 minute switch-off timer which is nice to have. The first drawback with this light is the power supply or rather the lack of one. There is a mains/USB cable supplied, but it means you have to plug the cable into a USB plug or other USB Type-C outlet. This means the charging capability of the light is limited to the output of whatever USB socket you plug this light in to. I would have much preferred this light to come with its own power supply and 3-pin UK plug. The second drawback is the flexibility of the 'head' of the light, i.e. the part with the LED bulbs in it. It articulates through one plane only, so you can fold it towards or away from the 36cm upright arm of the light and that's it. It would have been nice if the head section could be rotated so that the LEDs illuminate away from the user for example, e.g. to shine on a wall but this just isn't possible. The LED bulbs do remain cool during use and overall the light feels well made.To conclude, it's a handy lamp that will suit a lot of people but the lack of a proper power supply and flexibility in the head's adjustment lose it a couple of stars making it just an average reading light for me.
