Pro: I am actually excited that this candle wick trimmer tool works as well as it is beautiful in design! I've had another brand that was given to me but it was horrible at mashing the wick, didn't reach down into the jar candles after they were down to the last several inches and were a boring stainless steel gray. I ended up tossing it as defective. This one is flawless! I love everything about it, comfort, perpendicular angle of the handle which is perfect for narrow necks, my favorite Yankee Candle jars that are 6 inches high and weigh 22 oz. and close crops wicks to prevent excessive smoking. The finger holes are generous, no need to shove my thumb or finger through it to quickly cut the wick and the cut wick really does rest on top of the tool just like the video. Yay!I've purchased both of these on Amazon and they are worth every penny. Highly recommended and would make a beautiful gift for any candle lover, but it doesn't come in a box, just a plastic bag so you'll need to pick up a gift bag with some pretty tissue paper and foil ribbon to give it as a gift.Con: You will likely never want anything other than this beautiful trimmer ever again! I am truly delighted. Only thing that would improve this would be to include a quality gift box that matches the exquisite quality and design. Enjoy!!

As a candle addict, I needed a simple, functional candle trimmer. I expected to get something cheap that I would hide away after trimming my candle wicks. Instead what I got was a beautiful, sturdy trimmer that I use as a piece of decoration on my candle tray because it's that nice. The gold color is beautiful and not overly bright/shiny. I expect that this candle trimmer will last a very long time. And best of all, my candles burn so much better now that I use this instead of regular scissors.

Got swayed to buy an unknown brand set because this didn't show up in my initial search. Big mistake - because those cheapy ones do not cut well - this is the one you need! My son initially teased me for needing this but after trying to trim his wicks with a scissor, quickly changed his mind and asked me if he could have mine. :) the good one looks very nice. The silver is classic. If you burn any jar candles, will not be sorry you splurged on this, even at $20.

I think the design of this wick trimmer is superior to all the other brands on Amazon, however I find that the blade is on the dull side and has trouble cutting wicks sometimes. It could be perfect if the blades were sharper.

Didn’t know I needed this in my life, but no longer using scissors. My hand appreciates it, especially when the wax is getting low in those deeper jars. Would definitely recommend.
