Great IP Camera at a great feature rich price
This is our 4th Wireless IP Camera by Pyle so we can monitor exterior activity in every direction around our home. The vivid camera takes spectacular pictures and/or videos that are easily stored either in their Cloud or the onboard micro SD card slot on the camera. Access to the pics or videos is easy to send or retain on your PC or Mac. Setup is really simple by following the instructions in order and takes less than 5 minutes to gain connectivity. If you're looking for a simple camera with great features, look no further. We've been extremely pleased beginning with our 1st IP Camera from Pyle dating to early 2018.

Not sure I'll keep this cam, not working as expected..
So, got it out of the box, setup wasn't too bad, but scanning QR codes etc. not easy for many folks I'd guess.Connected to my wireless ok, got the app ok, and then, I took a look. Not a bad image, but it's black-and-white. I expected color images. Couldn't hear the sound when I tried to use intercom (too low to hear), and there's no volume settings/control. Couldn't see any way to tilt or pan the camera as the product literature said. Never got a verification email from them, after emailing that in. Motion detection did NOTHING. The site and FAQs are not helpful, very very little information there. So, last night, I sent in the below email as I found an address. As of today, NO response other than generic "Support is looking at it." So, I think I'll return this, and go looking for a better home security/pet camera for us.1) The camera’s model number HD 822) A full description of the issue you are havingA. Never got verification email.B. How can I pan and tilt and zoom the camera?C. Sound so low on camera cannot hear anything in the room, to hear the dogs. Can barely hear my voice when I do intercom.D. Tried motion detection at 0 and 100 and neither worked to detect motion.-Include screenshots or images if you think it will be helpful3) Which FAQ help guides you have already checked and any details where your experience differs from the written documentation.E. None of the FAQs on Web site addressed any of those issues.

Great cameras for the price!
We had just bought our second camera to keep an eye on some new puppies we have...well one of them pulled the camera off the shelf and chewed on it. So it was hit or miss on working now. I finally broke down and bought a replacement one, so now we have 2 that work good and 1 that it depends on its mood 😅Love that they are all in one app/place, makes it easy to access.

Good camera, two way sound, PZT, must use 2.4GHz WiFi, doesn't work wireless on 5GHz
Getting the camera to connect to the WiFi took some experimentation. If you have a 2.4/5 GHz router you must use only the 2.4GHz band. To do this I finally connected to the camera with Ethernet directly to the router and manually selected the 2.4GHz channel and then entered the WiFi password for the router manually. The audio based communication to enable wireless via the smart phone to the camera didn't work, I believe due my router defaulting to 5GHz, which they do tell you in the instructions won't work so definitely read the instructions.. The pan/tilt/zoom functions are as expected and even though it's digital zoom it works nicely for me in my application to watch the dog while we're out. The mic and speaker provide intelligible speech both ways. Once wireless was enabled I was able to take the camera to anywhere in the house and use it. I might get another one to do additional surveillance. The app (I have Android) was easy to install, had no hiccups along the way and functions very intuitively. BTW I am writing this review on the day I did the install so it's still pretty fresh in my mind. If you write a review they'll send you 16GB micro SD card which just pops into the back base section of the camera. The mounting 'stand' was essential for how I mounted it and I thought it was well engineered as it works in either vertical or horizontal orientations. They also provide an Ethernet cable so you don't have to go scrounging for one. I would have given 5 stars across the board if the camera worked on both bands and also the speaker audio while perfectly intelligible sounds a little tinny which I guess is to be expected given the small size of the thing.

What the other reviewers have written is correct; APP not available to Android
Update 3/10/23:This unit was kind of a pain to connect to the internet and it did lose its connection once or twice, but overall it has been worth every penny of the purchase price.HOWEVER, just a warning. A staff member replaced her android phone and that is when we discovered the that SereneViewer app is no long available on the Google app store; and the mfg has not suggested a replacement viewer app.The audio sucks. The picture from these cameras is outstanding. Very clear, easy to change the view, and with a built in SD card, keeps a recording of what it sees. That is the good part. The audio is the bad part. Difficult to hear what an employee is saying 2 feet under the camera. And if we talk to them, they can barely understand what we are saying.I have extra panasonic bl-c111 remote cameras that are 15 years old, and the audio from them is top notch. You can hear a conversation at 15 feet, but the video image is ancient. That is why I purchased this unit from Serene Life.If audio monitoring is not important, this is a good buy at a reasonable price.

Excellent monitoring device at a very affordable price.
I brought this camera so I could monitor my mother who lives alone and they are awesome. They work so well I purchased 2 more. They were very easy to connect to my home network and setting up the App was a breeze too. The video and audio clarity is amazing. The 1080p resolution is super clear in daytime as well as at night. The motion detection and the 360 degree rotation of the camera are just another plus for this camera. The peace of mind knowing that I can check in on my mom no matter where I am is priceless.
