My factory subwoofer blew in my 2001 Chevy suburban. It sounded like a tin can being kicked down the street. I got rid of the old subwoofer and ordered a cheap replacement by boss and when I got it I realized that nothing fits the factory box. After some research and frustration I got this speaker spacer so I can fit an aftermarket product. It barely fit my speaker. I was able to reuse the factory drilled holes to mount the spacer with 2" sheet metal screws and then I drilled holes into the lip of the box to mount the subwoofer through the spacer to the lip with 2 1/2" sheet metal screws. It's all very snug. I did my best to seal the spacer with gasket material like some have recommended. I don't recommend it, it's messy and more then likely does not make a difference. Everything works well however and I have full sound again!

Plenty of holes pre drilled for easy install. The material is easy to sand down if needed for fitment.

Good quality, and perfect size for what I needed. I bought the kicker wakeboard cans and they were 2mm to small for my speakers. Bought these spacers and they had the perfect hole alignment for the cans on the inner holes and thr middle set of holes were perfect for my speakers.
