I was looking at several reusable pads to assist in potty training my rescue and failed to read exact details on my selection. There are four grommeted holes in each corner and they supply 4 removable suction cups so you can secure it to the floor. I didn't like this part of the design as I thought it was just a plain flat pad. I wouldn't want to have to mess with suction cups while trying to clean up a mess. If you dont use the suction cups it then leaves holes in the four corners, which kind of defeats the purpose of protection. It was my fault for not reading the details. Some people may like this design aspect, however I was looking to place these in a crate and on the floor of her play yard...so holes are not ideal. They sent a small rope chew toy as a surprise which I thought was a nice bonus. However, I didn't end up using this product due to its design and returned them. So I can't speak to its permeability and ease of wash/clean up, but they looked and felt heavy duty and of great quality. Return was easy and refunded immediately. Recommend for those looking for this specific type of design. The other huge concern I had about the suction cup/grommets is if the dog decides to chew off the tops of the suction cup or somehow detaches the grommets and swallows them (both are quite small appx. nickel to quarter size, top of suction cup is smaller than a dime). This could lead to an emergency vet visit and possibly a surgical extraction. It just kind of seemed like an inconvenient and potentially dangerous design in my opinion. Others may like being able to secure it to the ground, but I still think it poses a safety hazard.

These are the second pads I bought. It’s not that I didn’t like the first ones - I did! I just found (like so many others) that my puppy was “missing the target,” so to speak. So I got these to protect the floor underneath. As it turns out, I like the quality of these pads even better than the others. These don’t seem to slip on the wood floors the way the first set of pads do. One thing I don’t like about these pads is the print on them. I think it’s supposed to make them cute, but all it does for us is camouflage our dog’s poops! It never fails that we end up missing some because they’re hiding in that da*n pattern! Haha 😂 Anyway, moving on! These are thinner, so they don’t seem to absorb as much urine and need to be washed more frequently, but they also dry faster - so there are pluses and minuses both ways. But the bottom line is that I DO like these pads and could quite confidently recommend them to anyone looking.Random notes:- I hang my pads to dry - they dry in a day or overnight.- My puppy scratches them up from the edges of her play area and chews on them (despite my ongoing attempts to get her to stop). The pads haven’t shown any real signs of wear. (She’s a toy puppy, but a vigorous chewer.)- I’ve been washing them in hot water, regular detergent, with a BUNCH of vinegar in the rinse cycle, they’re still pretty smelly after washing.- Bottom line, I’d buy them again (In fact, I’m actually here TO buy them again), and yes, I’d recommend them.Happy Dog Days to you!

Used for puppies and a huge life saver for clean up, mess & money savings! Definitely a better option than disposable pads! Doesn’t leak and it washes up nicely! I waited to write my review until we used them a few weeks, they’ve been GREAT!

I initially bought two 72x72 pads for my Siberian Husky. She used the pads and always stayed on the pad. I would put one pad down then pull the pad up replacing it every two days and throw the soiled pad in the washer. They are very absorbent and oee doesn’t go through the pad. I am now down sizing with the 48x60 pad to limit the coverage since she always stays on the pad. These are great pad and do the job great. I only wish the pad came in different colors or design that would make them look not like puppy pads.

My boyfriends dog is getting older and having accidents throughout the night. He put this pad on his bed and it did not leak through to his bedding. Washed in the morning and came out just fine.

I have an elderly Maltese who can’t see or hear anymore so he can’t go outside (we have stairs on our porch). I posted a picture with a large pee pad for reference. The suction cups don’t work for holding the pad down but it’s not a deal breaker.
