Used for years with both dogs with good results.
I’ve been giving both my Puggles Derma-3 soft gels for many years with good results to assist with breed related skin and joint issues. My oldest dog is 17 years and began exhibiting knee problems and some skin allergies, as a puppy, but prolonged daily Derma-3 has proven to offer sufficient relief whereas surgery was never necessary. My younger dog is 12 years old and had a significant spinal surgery due to a disc problem requiring reconstruction of her vertebral arch via both a Veterinarian Orthopedic surgeon and a Veterinarian Neurosurgeon. She exhibited paralysis due to nerve impingement both prior and post surgery when I began her Derma-3 daily protocol and six months later she regained full mobility. She currently acts like a puppy and my 17 year old still takes walks and enjoys full mobility. I’m not saying Derma-3 is a cure, but it certainly seems to help preserve joint wellness. It seemed less effective for skin issues, but it could be the breed which does often exhibit resistant allergies and skin itching. Consequently my younger dog needed to be moved to prescription medication for itch although the Derma-3 worked fairly well on my older dogs more minor itch and definitely I will continue daily protocol for joint health.

Easy enough to administer to nonpicky pups
I feel like they do help with my havanese's allergies a bit bit they're not quite the miracle cure my vet makes them out to be. She still deals with skin issues but not as severly. My dog has pretty severe allergies to quite a few things and we've done everything from changing her diet and shampoo to trying various medications and supplements. It's hard to tell how effective this is because we do try different things, but along with Apoquel, limiting the ingredients in her food and topical sprays, it seems to be a good addition to her regimen. My dog is also kind of a piggy and will eat almost anything so giving her the capsules is pretty easy. She won't eat the softgel as is, but if we pierce it and administer the oil by spoon she will eat all of it and, strangely, the empy capsule as well. All in all, I'm pleased with how easy it is to administer and while I still don't know how effective it is, it doesn't hurt and my dog seems to like eating it anyway.

Good product.
These are really helping to reduce the skin inflammation on my cat. However, they are huge. Thankfully, my cat is large- and, sweet.

Works great
When I got my dog. She was a hot mess. She had skin allergies so bad she smelled horrible. My vet recommended Derma 3. After a week, he skin cleared up, she didn't smell and her coat is silky soft. She stopped itching and scratching. She doesn't like taking them whole. So because they're a soft gel, I poke a hole in it with a pin and squeeze it onto her food and she gobbles it up. Loves the taste. I've since turned my Mother in law and several friends onto Derma 3 and they love the results.

works perfectly for my dog's skin
These gel caps really work well. MY dog had a skin issue sine birth but these gells every day have made that issue a thing of the past
