Received today. Perfect length for securing through spare tire/mount bracket. I'll prob large zip tie the cable to sides of spare tire bracket so it doesn't bounce around on the trail, and this will take up the small amount of slack. This cable/lock has plenty of room for this use. At a minimum, it's a little peace of mind that a thief would just move on. At this price point, it's inexpensive protection and hopefully deterrent. I wanted to show an alternative use instead of just a bike lock. I had a setup like this on another rig and no one ever jacked with it. So hopefully this thicker cable will work even better. Very large dials/numbers which I like greatly, makes unlocking easy when the tailgate is open and reaching down into the wheel. And setting your own combo was very cool, it took like 4 seconds. So far I'm digging it!

This lock cable is nice and thick and i was impressed by it. I use it to lock my gate and not have to have a key to go in and out of the backyard. Good quality.The size was perfect for going around the posts without a lot of extra cable. I feel much better knowing it's there.

I bought two of these locks for my kids' bikes because we could set up our own combination. After less than a month, one wouldn't unlock when my kid locked the bike onto a school fence. He couldn't unlock it, I also tried it and nothing. Good thing is that he locked the bike onto the fence in a way that we could wiggle it out (kids, always in a hurry). I contacted the customer service to ask if we could do something to unlock, they responded by saying it had never happened before and they would refund my money, which they did promptly for both the locks. So definitely 5* for that. The other lock seems to be fine so far, crossing fingers.

Sturdy lock, robust. What I was looking for.

I got this lock so I could leave my motorcycle helmet and jacket secured to my bike and don't have to carry them around. This lock works great for that purpose. It was easy to set my numbers and I like that the numbers on the dial are big so I don't need to pull out my reading glasses to see them. The lock couls and fits nicely in the small storage box on my bike.

We bought this to keep our sneaky teenagers out of the refrigerator after my wife and I go to bed. It has already save us hundreds of dollars.

This lock was made very poorly. It broke after I used it only 4 times. Return window was 30 days so I missed it by a couple of days.
