These aren't even two inches long, and quite thin. If I'd found these at a hardware store I would expect to pay maybe US$2 for a pair, not $10 (and shipping should not be more than about $0.50). These will only be serviceable for rather small stained glass pieces, maybe 1' x 3' max. I would not trust any larger piece to them. They are adequate for smaller ones, though. Look around for more affordable options. I was attracted by the Art Nouveau shape of these, but that feature isn't worth the overpricing.

Needed to hang a stained glass window on new windows and not void their warranty. Perfect and good looking and unobtrusive.

I have used these many times, for large framed pictures and had no problems. They are very strong. However, I do use my own screws, because the provided screws are soft and easily strip when screwing them into oak wood. I use longer screws with a star head using a star bit. They give a very nice finish. Local craft stores sell a set of them for $3.15 in Austin, TX.

I do a lot of stained glass work. Heavy pieces framed in oak. Nothing can touch these in quality/strength.

Great for hanging my mother in laws stained glass. Very secure.
