Got this to detect my cat at the door.
We bought these to use at our back door and garage door to alert us when our kitty needs in. They have worked great so far. There are only 3 alarm sounds and there is a strange button for random music to play. It makes you think you can set any alarm to that music but you cant. It's just strange. But they work perfect for what we needed.

Swann Wireless Home Doorway Kit alert Security.
At first it is so easy to install. But I did have too put it up out of reach bye my neighbors. They change the sensors around one time that I was gone. Then I put them up higher now they are working great. No more surprise arrivals.

Very loud & attentive
It does what it's supposed to do. Motion very sensitive, gives up to 20 feet of 180 motion sensoring of the 2 monitors. Both monitors have different sounds for each one however you cannot change the sound of either one. The instructions needs more work, not giving how to change sounds nor how the response is for the monitors. Overall it's a very good product to have around your home or outdoors.

Many Problems
I bought two sets of these from Amazon and one from Lowes that had only one motion sensor in it. I gave one to my son from Amazon. We programed 3 sensors to one receiver and for about two weeks everything worked fine. Then they started sporadically working. Then one stopped entirely. I had one on the driveway, one in the back yard and one on the front porch.I have called Swann three times asking questions. What they tell us doesn't work. Also they have all these chimes but the motion sensors come with a sound by default. You cannot change it. Our 3 sensors have all different sounds. We have finally come to the conclusion that the frequency of more than one on a receiver interferes with the other motion sensors.Since we have two receivers we are trying one motion sensor on one receiver and the other motion sensor on the other receiver to see if they will keep working. That leaves us not being able to use 3. Of the 3 sounds they made I only like one of them. We are debating sending them all back. If they are not dependable than why use them. We will see how they do with what we have done now. Also I saw a ? about turning the sound off. I did that correctly on one of them when my husband was mowing the back yard. Then I went to turn the sound back on when he was done. It would do the beep and then turn itself right back off. Over and over it did this. So we had to take the batteries out and reset it. Then program it again. My d-I-l says the same thing about their 2 sensors on the one receiver. One wants to cancel out the other.

For the price the unit works well across my entire house. The pairing instructions need updating in the manual - don't keep pressing reset after you pair the first unit as it completely resets the base unit. I still wish it has a USB interface to my computer. I would pay more for such a base station.

Eats Batteries. Gives False Alarms.
Bought this to monitor driveway. Initially, seemed to work well. Unfortunately, the PIR sensor was easily fooled by moving shadows cast by plants moving in the wind. The sensors have no sensitivity adjustment to allow for filtering out false alarms. I discovered that repositioning the sensor to avoid detecting moving background vegetation not an option on my property. Not too long after the 1 year warranty expired, one of the sensors started reporting a low battery warning even though fresh AAA batteries had been installed less than two weeks prior. I reported this problem to the manufacturer but was offered no help. I would not recommend this product.

Arrived in good time
They have worked out very well for what they were intended for. We used them to for my terminally ill Mom for when she was on the move.

Basically suitable for front entrance alert
I use it to alert me when a patient comes into the clinic while I am away from front desk. You have to experiment with the transmitter angle to detect people entering if you don't want it to detect people just standing in the room. If the angle is wrong, it easily misses shorter people.Pros: easy to install once you figure out the sections that are unclear in the manual. Price is reasonable compared to others on the market. Could not find similar products in actual stores. The angle of coverage seems less than claimed in the manual, although this might be because my entrance is only 6' high and 3' wide. This was actually better for me than if the angle was wider, but might be a problem for other users. The manual warns that it is sensitive to changing light but thankfully this does not seem to be a problem yet. (Maybe when the summer sun starts to come in, it will be.)Cons: Claim of effective distance is doubtful; transmission is inconsistent at 50' with only two regular inside walls in between, seems reliable at 40'. I gave up testing distances. There are three sound options for the motion alert but only one is suitable in this environment. The first two are more for danger or emergency - klaxon and siren sounds, rather than chimes or friendly sounds. As a result, it is not as useful as it could have been, especially since with two sensors, only one can sound friendly while the other one startles patients or else uses the same sound for two locations. It would have been more useful and more valuable to me to have two receivers and one transmitter instead of two transmitters and one receiver. The company website says a second receiver can be connected but this possibility is unclear in the manual. The manual says that a doorbell can be connected with multiple sound options. It's too bad this functionality was not extended to the motion alerts.

Could be better.
I bought this because I wanted something to alert me of presence around my porch/back door as there have been lots of break ins/key thefts lately for cars where I live. I do have an alarm, flood lights and cameras, so this is more of a value add. First of all, in comparison to 'a cheaper' one I'd purchased earlier, this is probably better quality, mounting option is good and gives a good range to be able to tuck it away and use directional control, although I would have probably preferred that the mount itself could be fixed/secured to the sensor, but it just slides on, the PIR sensitivity is good, it picks up people at the doorway, it doesn't give me false alerts and isn't so far set off by wind, rain, a microscopic organism or ghosts, however there are some areas which needs to be improved and are, quite annoying:What it doesn't really explain is that although it has a 'multitude' of melody options, none of them can actually be set for the notification alert. It doesn't explain this in the instructions or on product description and it took me a while to work this out that they are for the doorbell option only (which it doesn't actually come with so the button is well....useless). All I really wanted was a 'ding dong', which is actually part of the melody so it was confusing the hell out of me as to why it wouldn't set; but no you are subjected and forced with 'noise' that is more likened to something from an 70's repetitive horn style clock or car alarm, so much so that I don't really have any words to describe it except "MER MER MER MER MER MER MER MER MER MER MER"Take the above and then consider the volume options; Very Loud, Ultra Loud, Mega Loud; my eardrums are taking a beating, and god help you if you actually have this thing go off at 3am in the morning; ok yes I know the whole point of it is as an 'alert' but OMG, if you want something to make you think there is some sort of act of god and you need to save your family from impending doom, then this is it.Additionally, you can't actually switch it off, which would makes sense as the main unit is battery powered, and I would imagine if you are not using the doorbell aspect (to re-iterate which it doesn't come with), then you really only need to use it of an evening/night, and silencing it isn't exactly easy either; I've read the instructions and followed them, yet it still persists to alert me despite it being set (or at least me thinking I have). For gods sake a switch is all that is needed! I've resorted to removing a battery for now until I need to actually use it.On the whole, it does the job, but cost wise I'm not convinced it's worth the £30, maybe £15-£20

Super easy and quick to set up, works great!
I bought this so we know when someone is arriving as soon as they turn into our lane way - it was very easy for me to set up myself (and I am not overly tech savvy if that says anything at all!) and it works great, I would recommend.
