Swoon!
Ohhh i adored this! Fantastic storyline, bit of angst, fun, sweet, heap of chemistry, bit of sexy times thrown in. All bloody amazing! At the beginning i thought maybe Gretchen may be a bit of a damsel in distress but she was far from it. She was unexpectedly confident and really funny. I loved her! She gave Trent back as good as he gave and their banter had me chuckling all through.Trent was seriously yum. To the point and bold but also a really great guy you can't help falling for. It didn't take him long to figure out what he had in Gretch and that made me love him more. Both had difficult childhoods to overcome but as adults they're both strong and determined not letting their past dictate them.A tragic accident brings them back together. Trent is best friends with Gretchen's brother Danny and he goes to offer support to him. When he see's Gretchen again for the first time in years the attraction is instant. They didn't really have anything to do with each other as kids but now they're adults the sparks fly. Trent see's this as an unexpected bonus but it's not the main reason he is back in town. He's out for revenge. He's plotted for years and now its time to execute his plan. Of course things are never that easy and his plans become complicated by his relationship with Gretchen and her family. Can he let his plans go in order to make sure Gretchen keeps her family together?I loved the whole plot. It was heartbreaking at times but also a real overcoming the past story. You root for both of them to succeed and the ending is exactly what you hope for. Unputdownable from the first word i devoured it. I laughed and cried, i got angry and broke my heart and finally i swooned and loved. Just brilliant!Highly recommend! Its a slightly different take on the brothers best friend trope in that although they knew each other as kids they didn't really have much to do with each other back then which i felt made it fresh.

Family life.
I don’t know how she does it but Cora releases books that suck you in on the emotional train and she lets you off when she’s ready! This book is beautifully heartbreaking, there were some small details (to some) but I felt them because as much as no family is ever perfect but some push and push to the point of no return, I felt I could have been reading it about some of my family. I was hooked and it was worth every single second, Cora in my eyes can write about any situation and makes it amazing!4 ⭐️

I'm not usually sappy, but aww such a cute story!
The twins were, let's face it, the stars of this show! The way they call the love interest "TrentCassini" from the get-go should've been really irritating but it was actually pretty cute. All very predictable, but I enjoyed it for its simpleness.I'd say more but don't want to ruin it for prospective readers with a load of spoilers.I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay £7.99 a month for the subscription)

Good one
I liked the story, the characters and the plot. I did not like the writing though. Found it choppy and weird at times which was annoying. I doubt I will go for anything more from this author because of this.

Massive Love for Trentcassini. ❤
Whatever Will Be is a fantastic standalone story in the Coming Home Series. It's a story that'll pull on your heartstrings yet still manage to make you smile as you fall in love with some wonderful characters. It's a small town, brothers best friend romance that's packed with all the feels.Trent Cassini and Gretchen Aaronson are dealing with a lot, tragedy brings them together and they don't have an easy time. They connect on a level neither one was expecting but they're willing to take a risk on each other as they discover some shocking revelations.I loved Gretchen with her sassy smart mouth, how she surprised Trent at every corner made me laugh. Trent was every bit the broken bad boy, I absolutely loved everything about him, he melted my heart with the twins.I loved them both and enjoyed their story.I'm really hoping Cora has plans for a story about Danny sometime in the future....fingers crossed.

Good writing. Very enjoyable read
Gretchen has come home because her sister has been killed in a car accident leaving four year old twins with no one. Her brother Danny and her never knew who the father was and they now find they her her guardians. Gretchen accepts the role knowing that her life as a student has now gone but her brother is torn, its his last chance to play in the big leagues. Trent is his best friend and he is back to get revenge on his half brother who had him sent to a boys reform school and all the horror that entailed. Meeting Gretchen was a shock, she had grown up into a beautiful woman and he found himself helping her with the twins. It was a good plot, lots of drama, secrets and a developing love.

Quick, easy read
This story was a bit short but sweet. It moved at a fast pase. Both main characters were strong, independant, had past pain and family history but loved hard and fast. Really nice small town love story.

Nice read
Forgive me, I did not realize this was Cora Brent! Literally, just now after finishing the book, I saw her name. For me, it was a different tone than what I'm used to from her. I loved it. Its sad, its wholesome, its dirty. When tragedy happens in Gretchen's life, Trent comes along as starts to fix things. They both heal each other. The love they have for those little girls! It was a beautiful story.

Hard Hitting
This book was hard hitting. No pun intended. This book was full of heat and heart that will make you swoon. I understood Gretchen in a way I didn’t think was possible. This book pulled on my heart and I would read it again and again.
