Switch works as expected full 2.5 Lan
This switch has been operating flawlessly with 100, 1gig, and 2.5 hardware with auto-negotiation for the past 11 months. Unfortunately, one of the ports became inoperable due to a power surge.Regarding the RMA experience, it was exceptional. I simply sent an email and they promptly dispatched a replacement unit. Jatin from Zyxel was extremely helpful and followed up on the return process.

Great bit of kit for a great price
Beefed up our home network with this and a few 2.5GbE PCI cards and the speeds have drastically improved when moving between our NAS and PC's. Gets a little warm being fanless but not so much you'd really notice.

Prefer buying network equipment from known brands. This switch is good value for the money and does the job, no problems.

Mit Abstand bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Nachdem ich durch einen 2,5 Gigabit Ethernet USB-C Adapter die volle Performance meines 1 Gigabit Kabel Internetanschlusses erleben konnte (1080Mbit/s DL), wollte ich unbedingt auch den zentralen Switch meines Heimnetzwerks entsprechend aufrüsten. Nach kurzer Recherche war klar, dass hier die Auswahl deutlich kleiner und die Preise deutlich höher als bei den vergleichbaren Gigabit Ethernet Switches ist. Da ich die volle Performance meines Internetanschlusses nur selten ausreize und es mehr um die Faszination an der Technik geht, habe ich den Markt solange beobachtet, bis ich hier bei Amazon diesen Zyxel Switch zu einem wirklich sehr guten Preis gesehen habe, für den man bei der Konkurrenz noch nicht einmal eine 5 Ports Version bekommt. Ich war natürlich auch etwas skeptisch, aber auf den Amazon Service war bisher immer Verlass, so dass ich den Switch bestellt habe. Bisher habe ich das nicht bereut, d.h. der Switch ist gut verarbeitet, macht keinerlei Geräusche (Netzteilfiepen, Lüfter o.ä.), läuft seit jetzt 3 Wochen ohne Probleme und liefert vor allem die volle Performance meines Internetanschlusses an jeden LAN Port meines Zuhauses. Ich kann diesen Switch wirklich sehr empfehlen.
