Eden's Conflict

This is a story about the good and the bad within people. Fortunately with a happy ending. A good read for a rainy day

The first page was too risque for the setting, 1901, young daughters frolicking nearby, and the husband starting to put his hand up her skirt. I don't think so. I quit reading.

What a marvellous story this is. Quite harrowing at times but I could not put it down as so many twists and turns. Loved the characters and the excellent dialogue made it very real as if you were there. There was one tiny part of the story I was not happy with and wished the author had made it slightly different but will not say what as don't want to spoil it for other readers. A lot of spelling errors especially near the end could do with better proof reading but certainly did not detract from the story. I highly recommend this the author is a great storyteller.

AnneMarie Brear has an extraordinary talent in creating stories that keep you reading. This story reflects the standards set in a different period of time. I thoroughly recommend reading this book.

Povety,class love and grief another amazing novel. I got so involved emotionally reading this. How Eden survived all the heartache and grief she suffered but her focus was always prioritised for the love and care of he r precious girls. Love for Joel never died a wonderful livestock at the end. Deserves a five star no questions. Amazing..

Another great read, I have only recently begun to read AnneMarie Bear stories after having read all Dilly Court and Josephine Cox. I have to say the stories are more descriptive than either of the above. The characters are so real and the twist and turns are excellent. Well done and thank you.

This is a great read couldn't put it down for long as I had to know what happened next ,it was so exciting from beginning to the end .
