Time will tell how the rubber holds up, but it looked good when received and I see no degradation after a month with it installed on an outdoor item.But when you buy something with adhesive, you expect it to stick. After cleaning a painted wood item, I stuck a strip of rubber on and applied pressure for days to give it time to adhere. But upon removing the weights, one end of the strip immediately flopped up. I ended up stapling it down, but that solution should not be needed and won't work for all situations.

I bought this roll of rubber strip to put on the underside of our rockers on the front porch because the porch is brick, and it’s kind of rough or uneven when you rock. I figured this would soften it a bit as well as save the bottom of the rockers from getting all chewed up. I cleaned the undersides with alcohol pads, then attached the strip. It adheres well to smooth painted surface, anyway. I tacked each end of the strip to ensure that the ends don’t come loose from use.

We were in need of a product to adhere to the pickleball net supports that would withstand the rain and not mar our synthetic courts when moved around. These rubber strips are providing excellent protection and have withstood several weeks of rain and are still firmly attached .Highly recommend when strong adhesion qualities are required.

The rubber is smelly, the density is great. It gives just a bit and isn't too hard. Time in the sun may cause it to get brittle, only time will tell. But the adhesive is very thin and is not at all strong. Use 3m VHB tape to secure it permanently. I will buy a non-adhesive rubber strip and use VHB instead of paying extra for the adhesive backed rubber strip.

First, I must say the rubber feels high quality. It is thick and heavy duty. However, when unrolling some of the adhesive was not stuck to the rubber. After the first foot or so the adhesive was still attached and I was able to use. It leaves me wondering if the adhesive does not stick to the rubber how well it will hold over time. So three stars because the rubber is good quality but knocked two stars off because of the patchy adhesive.
