Not bad but ripped
Our medium size pitbull has anxiety issues/ear issues and he is constantly licking himself and will lick himself raw. We've tried everything but not much helps. Since most of the licking is located around tail and butt we thought these would be perfec, they fit him well and cover his hindquarters. The downside we saw is due to his fur being sleek the band slides down his body so we have to make sure he is wearing his thunder buddy jacket to help it stay in place, or buy doggie suspendors. Also, on the first day a ripped at the band seem appeared after struggling to get our dog in them, I attribute that mostly to his muscle mass and fighting against them, the hole has not moved much since then though.

Not effective for my needs
The pants are a good quality but not really effective for my purpose which was to protect a post surgical ACL leg. I only used them once and it was a complete failure; my little 8 pound dog had no trouble exposing the above knee surgical site to give his sutures a good licking. I did not purchase the suspenders but it would not have made a difference because the exposed area in the front, (for urinating), is large and the surgical site was easily accessible. But after using only once, I can say that I do recommend the suspenders. I will put the pants aside for winter warmth which is the only use I have for these pants.

Mozzie pants saved us!
My 10 year old miniature labradoodle had a fatty mass removed from her groin/inner thigh. I ordered the walking pants in size Large (she is 40 pounds) because I wanted her to be able to go potty with them on, and I didn’t want to use the cone 24/7. I should have contacted Jules, the owner, to get her opinion about which pants would work best. The walking pants were too open on the bottom to cover the incision.. I wrestled around on the floor to try to fashion a tshirt of mine to wrap around her and keep her from licking and had to re-do every time she went outside. I am not good at this sort of thing, recently had a total knee replacement, and my knee was very painful while trying to accomplish this. I called Jules and she said she wished I would have consulted her earlier. and the original pants would work. She sent a pair overnight mail at no charge, along with detailed instructions. I highly recommend these pants and am so appreciative of Jules’ approachability and great service. The design and sewing are superb. Now, my knee and my dog’s incision can continue the healing process. I ordered the suspenders previously and use one, criss crossed on top and looped around my dog’s neck to secure the pants. I recommend ordering the suspenders to keep pants in place.Laurie Grounds

Post-surgery
Used these pants for my husky after a mass removal from her leg. She didn’t have to wear the cone because of the pants. I would have preferred more stretch around the keg, but they worked well

I followed the instructions on which size to buy. The opening on the stomach is too large, my dog just worked around it and I had to cut the legs in half. I saw where they suggested you might want to add, sew or modify the opening, but if they already know that might be necessary they should provide some sort of holes or snaps to work with for the price. In this case a one size fits all kind of cut did not work for me.

Nice concept but didn't work for me
Nice concept. However, I need pants that cover the entire leg for my paraplegic dog. Due to the fact the the belly is open her inside hip still flips through the hole and drags. Also, do to muscle atrophy they don't stay up. Pants are already expensive, not going to spend another $30+ for the suspenders. Will have someone make some with a draw string waist and/or add children's socks to a $15 dog onesie.
