How can you not love Sandra Cisneros? This book comes with an introduction of Sandra Cisneros and her past which really puts her writing into perspective. I loved this addition. Easy read with magical and powerful words of life, culture, and more.

We are mostly b1-b2. The format of this book made it easy to read and then translate. The stories in the book were very interesting to read and everyone enjoyed it.

A very enjoyable read. I did read it in English first, now I am reading it in Spanish as written. Definitely a top notch writing job where the author shows how she fit into her neighborhood from a young age. Shouldn't be missed.

I work with 6-8th grade kids and I always suggest this book to my students. 100% approval rating. This purchase was to replace a well worn, well loved copy.
