Eat Me Guilt Free Protein Brownie – Low Carb, Low Sugar, Keto-Friendly Brownies – 6 Count, Chocolate Brownie

This review is a bummer because I have a love / hate with the product. I don’t want it to go away.I love the brownie favors, the size, calorie, carb content is exactly what I’m looking for. I order multiple boxes at once. It arrives quickly every time and it’s never smashed or destroyed in the process. There are products like it, but I haven’t found anything that I like or have the size/calorie/carb count I’m looking for like this one.I can get past that at times they are a little dry - I don’t expect perfection from any online order. I order a lot of these so I gotta be realistic - nothing is great or even good 100% of the time. Even if it is a higher priced product (in my opinion).I hate that box after box show up with mold - I’ve had this issue with every flavor. I’ll order two boxes and they’re good, then BAM mold. I’m trained to look a brownie over before eating it because of this - it’s not the kind of product I just open and eat while driving in the car. Mold can be in just one corner or the entire item. Sometimes you open one and the smell of mildew hits you immediately. Then there’s the egg shells - in recent months I’ve bitten into more and more egg shells, some the size of small sand some the size of quarters. It just ruins the bar and for me personally it makes my stomach turn. Maybe for some people this is not an issue, but I have to throw out the brownie when it happens. The last thing is that they’re non-returnable, I think people should have the protection of returning items especially when the quality is not consistently good. I don’t know if that falls on the company or Amazon policies.All that said, my hope is that it’s early days and the company is growing fast, experiencing these hiccups and corrects them. I really like the product - like I said, I try to be realistic and not expect companies, especially small ones, to be perfect. But when it’s inedible… and weeks turn into months, then years - I gotta say something only in the hopes they correct it.

Protein treats are very much personal taste. Nobody in my family enjoyed these enough to buy again, but I don't want to mark them down too much for our taste preferences. They are quality protein snacks at a price worth trying.

Ordered red velvet (bc I’ve had them and liked them) but got chocolate. No returns on baked goods. The flavor isn’t bad, but not what I wanted.

I was buying these nearly 4 years ago and found them to be moister and more flavorful, less protein taste. Unfortunately, this new batch I recently purchased tasted differently to me. They are still fine to eat but definitely different.

As others have said they aren't as soft as they used to be. But I do find them to be acceptable. Not sure who's fault this is but the last two times I've ordered my favorite flavor, Red Velvet, I have received Chocolate. This last time I studied the box in more detail and noticed the box said Chocolate but the little barcode sticker said Red Velvet. So I am assuming it's Amazon's fault. Amazon did refund my purchase as these can't be returned. The Chocolate are good but it seems I can't get Red Velvet. Some reviews have said you have to order directly from the company and I've done that but last time it was quite a hassle as they kept delaying the order, shipped partial order, and kept saying they hadn't made the rest of my order - lots of problems but they finally made it right but it wasn't easy and took a lot of emails. So I think I'm going to have to pass for now. The Quest cookies are an excellent substitute and probably healthier anyway.

More fat and less protein than it used to have. Won’t buy anymore as the nutritional numbers are not great anymore.

I am a competitive powerlifter and am always looking for high protein "treats". Although only 14 grams of protein (they used to be much more before they changed their recipe), at 14 grams these are still pack a fair amount of protein, I have found the taste to be very good. They are moist, not dry. I snack on one or two a day, usually before I retire for the evening. Fairly low in calories, is that is your thing! I don't think you can go wrong by trying one batch and seeing what you think. I also buy their high-protein bread and tortillas.

This is my fav of all the flavours! So sweet like it’s a completely normal brownie!

I love these and have ordered a few times. This batch was a little dry, not sure if they’ve just been sitting for awhile in a warehouse but last batch was fine. Would still order again.

tastless dry

Would not buy again! Just opened one and it is molded. Expiry is 10/22/21. Not impressed .

First brownie I took out from a box of 12 and it was moldy. Very disappointed...
