This is the stuff! It's scent free so you don't walk around like a huge air freshener, which is the first plus. The second is it provides medium-strong to strong hold (depending on how much you apply) WITHOUT your hair feeling gunky or shiny like you just smeared 20w50 car oil on. You can also re-style your hair all day without having to fade the product out or even wet your hair. If you want a classy, natural look and still have control you have to try this stuff. It's like a blend of wax and pomade, gives a little shine without looking like a greasehead. Also doesn't gunk up like some of the heavier products. At least for me, I have a part and finger comb my hair back. I have medium length hair, and this stuff works a charm. I'm definitely buying again once I start running low.Yes, applying it can be a pain specially in the colder months, so what I'd recommend is scrapping (yes it's that hard) what you need then either letting sit in your palm fist closed for at least 5 mins to warm it up or like the other review says, run some hot water through it while its in your hand. Then of course rub to heat and spread evenly in your palms/fingers then apply.I've tried ACrew pomade, Difi Pliable Molding Cream, ACrew style cream, Kevin Murphy NightRider and this stuff is superior. Unless you want that super shiny look which you should go with a petroleum based pomade (ACrew) or have long hair and want a natural hold, like I said, other than getting the product out of the container and heating it up, this stuff is excellent.

The actual product is really good, but the product is so hard inside the container it is almost impossible to get out and apply to your hair.Once you go through the laborious (underline laborious) process of getting the product out of the container and softening it enough to apply, you can create almost any style you desire, and it will look natural and hold well without the gunky or greasy and sticky feeling/look after drying you get with a lot of other gels and pomades.Overall, great product but way too difficult to effectively use

My wife makes fun of me because I have so many hair products, but I usually only buy one (maybe two) a year. Unfortunately, I rarely finish that one because it either flakes or begins to cause me to break out. This one works fantastically. I love the thickness, the simplicity, and it is the first hair product to not cause me to break out -- which can be a problem if you want to keep that hairline in place. I was hesitant at first, but I got married this summer, and I wish I would have had this for the photos.

The wax itself is pretty good. Not too shiny, lasts the whole day. BUT The reason why I decided to buy this product was because it was supposed to not give you pimples and was non comodogenic. Sadly, ir broke me out like crazy. If you don't suffer of acne. Go for it !!! Really nice wax

I didn't like this pomade at first because I found it hard to apply. I was used to products like American Crew that have a petroleum jelly sort of consistency. This product is opaque white in the container and much harder, like something between shortening and paraffin wax.It is harder to apply. You must really work it into your hands before applying to your hair otherwise you could end up with little white chunks of pomade in your hair. The best way I found was to put a dab on my fingertip, then run it under hot hot water to soften it up, and then spread it between my fingers thoroughly. It definitely requires more effort than most pomades. It is also hard to wash off your hands.But once I got used to the application, I found I prefer the all-day hold and the "dryer" appearance. It doesn't hurt that I actually received a random compliment on my hair. That has never happened to me before. It is not as "greasy" as AC style pomades. I do not get annoying acne on my temples like with other pomades. And very importantly to me, this pomade has no detectable fragrance.

I've tried a number of pomades (including brands like Baxter of California, Cold Label and Admiral Supply) and I find this the best one because:-It has no scent (which is hard to find!)-It has a matte finish, not shiny-It has good hold (in this case, for thick medium-length hair)-It leaves your hair soft, not hard or sticky or gritty-A little goes a long wayNote: it's got the consistency of a wax in the jar, not a gel or cream, which some people may find unusual but once you rub it in your hair you don't notice the difference.Will definitely keep buying.
