Three Dog Bakery Carob Chip Cookie

Flavor for a dog cookie?
I thought the sandwich cream cookies were my dog's favorites until I gave him one of these. He loves them. I do however find it strange that you've asked me to rate the flavor. I didn't tasted them so declined to rate them. Ask the dog.

It’s a great cookie however…
The guy that wrote a review about his dog eating every crumb including some carpet was not only funny, but so true!As soon as my dog hears the crinkling sound of the package being opened, he comes a running! Haha!My boy Rocky loves these cookies! Just for the heck of it, I tried a piece myself and they are indeed yummy! Haha! But rather than endure the wrath of his stink-eye, I reserve them for only him! Haha! Really, it’s a quality product, and if your dog didn’t like then I would be really surprised! However there’s 2 cons for this product:1) They are very easily broken. I’ve had to return 2 packs because more than 1/2 of each bag arrived in crumbs.2) I wish they they had a packaging that can re-close once opened, like a zip-lock end or a flap that has a sticky closure on the top of the package like a lot of popular human cookie brands out there have. The way I get around con #2 is; once opened, I slide the whole package into a gallon zipper bag but the manufacturer could easily remedy that with the suggestions I mentioned above.

My dog doesn't like them, unfortunately
The cookies arrived with little crumbling, but my chihuahua doesn't like them. I break them into tiny pieces and have to coax her to eat it. She'll eat one little piece then walk away even though she normally would gobble up cookie crumbs from human cookies. After reading the ingredients and seeing they are typical ingredients for human cookies, I tasted a piece. They taste like cookies purchased at a health food store, with low flavor. I imagine some dogs would like them, maybe larger dogs. Going to make little bags of the cookies and share them with other dogs in the neighborhood!

Cookies were crumbled like Kibble
I purchase several products from this company every month. My dog loves the cookies (creme and 3 flavor) so I have to be sure we never run out. So I was very disappointed (and surprised) with these chocolate chip cookies. They arrived totally crumbled. I thought at first they had been damaged during shipping. Then I picked up a broken piece and it crumbled in my fingers because they are so dry. These cookies are not eligible for return or replacement. There is also no place to contact the seller. Three Dog Bakery is good company. They make quality products that my dog really enjoys. So I think they would want to know about this. P.S. I tasted part of a crumbled cookie and they are really good!

Better shipping packaging
The cookies were not packed well. The box came in a bubble pack but they were loose in the big envelope. Every cookie was broken. I have small dogs so I can deal with that as I would be only giving them a half or less as a treat. I actually tasted one myself, and they were tasty. I have been looking for a replacement cookie since Petco stopped carrying the carob chip cookies. I do not need that big of a package but I can put them in a tupperware container to keep fresh. The 5th ingredient is sugar which I am concerned about giving to my dogs. I do not give them cookies every day. I have one Chihuahua mix that has a touchy stomach. I will see how he manages with 1/4 of a cookie.
