BLACK+DECKER OEM 90637808 String Trimmer Guard Assembly GH3000

I just needed the line cut off blade for the Black and Decker model GH3000. Searching the Internet got confusing. They would show a picture of the wrong blade or show the right blade but stating it was for other models. This was the right part for the GH3000, it just fit in place with the one screw that holds it in place and has the blade. I put it together and tried it out in a small area and it works like it's supposed to cutting the trimmer line

My biggest annoyance with B&D weed trimmers is that they don't last long, especially with wear parts. The trimmers are cheap, but who wants to replace them every other year. This time, I decided to try to find and replace those wear parts. Hard to do at my local hardware and big box stores. Amazon, however, did a great Job of matching my model number with the right parts, for a lot cheaper than replacing the whole unit. The parts are high quality and fit perfectly. Very easy to install.

The trimmer line was not cutting on my trimmer. Replacing this part solved it. Lasts many years. Easy to replace.

Installs easily and works great

I bought this to replace the guard on my GH3000 and it was a perfect match and fit to the original. My original was destroyed when the supposedly superior factory wound line came loose from the cartridge while in motion and spit out more than it was supposed to. The extra line proceded to cut holes and rip the guard to shreads before I could stop the machine. As long as the quality remains the same, I would not hesitate to purchase another of these should I have another need for one.

I have the corded electric GH 3000 Type 1. I needed a new guard. I saw this, ordered it and it fit perfectly. It comes with the screw that is attached to the back of the guard. So easy to assemble. I’m so glad I got it since the Home Improvement stores in our area do not carry the part.

Looks just like the old one that needed to be replaced

The numbers matched up. Match the numbers and you have the proper part. Fits same as my old part.
