Premium Mineral Collection with 15 Identified Specimens and 4.5X Hand Lens

I bought these as an end of year gift to include with a Learning Resources Science Journal and Carson 20x Pocket Microscope also sold on Amazon for the seven young students in a class I tutor. They have all shown great interest in making observations of rocks and minerals, and this seemed the perfect "little" rock/mineral sample to something to keep them actively interested. It was an absolute thrill to receive this package and find the samples are HUGE--the jasper was nearly 3" in length--compared to other kits I have purchased or used. The smaller quartz sample included two specimens in the bag which more than made up for its smaller size compared to the other samples. Each sample is packaged in its own plastic bag with an informative card exactly as pictured in the images provided on the listing. Wonderful item, very pleased with this purchase!

I wanted a set that didn’t deliver pea sized samples so I took a chance on this set based on a prior review. It was even better than I’d hoped! The set was shipped in a small but very sturdy box that protected even the crystals very well and arrived in 2 days rather than the 3 stated.
