Brooke Lynn is shown that she doesn’t need to be scared by her Mum, and that this tiny bug is friendly, and may even bring good luck! After saying goodbye as her new little friend flies off, Brooke Lynn sets out to find the ladybug again the following day. The bright illustrations go well with the fun rhyming verses. A sweet bedtime read.

A beautiful story which centers around the friendship between a little girl, Brooke Lynn, and a ladybug. The book is suitable for early readers, ages 4 to 8, and it teaches children to love and respect other beings.I read this book to my daughter and she loved it. As a parent, I often seek books that offer more than a story. “My Lil’ Ladybug Friend” delivers the sweetness of a childhood tale, as well as lessons on kindness and respect. It teaches children to maintain a positive attitude, and also to pay more attention to their environment.The adventure of Brooke Lynn is fun but also uplifting, serving as a “feel-good story” for bedtime. I believe it is also a wonderful resource for teachers, and it was fun to read the bonus material on ladybugs. The book cover is amazing, and the hand-drawn illustrations bring the story to life.The book is educational and easy to read, and I loved the fact that it was written in rhyme. Our little ones can benefit from seeing books that teach them to be kind and respectful with other beings, as well as from reading stories that focus on empathy. A lovely adventure, which made me remember my daughter’s first encounter with a ladybug!

A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) Rhyming educational storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series.
