I made a consumer error and didn’t fully read the product descriptions. Bought the 1200lb with no sway control because it was the cheapest while I really only need a 1000lb hitch. Well whoops! Once I buy a trailer ball for the 1200lb hitch they’ll be the same price anyway.I received the hitch and the bolt package was missing. Apparently this is a common problem in the model because Camco almost made me go through Amazon to fix it. So be aware, if there is any packing tape or damage to the box don’t receive it!In any case, got it sorted out. I’ve got two other of the 1000lb hitch size from WM and they’re great. Pretty easy to adjust and install and they make a definite difference in the stability and capability of my Expedition to tow at its max capacity.

Bought this for my trailer because everyone kept telling me to buy a weight distribution hitch. It did take awhile because the nuts on the shank were so hard to put on. about a couple hours later having to make trips to get the right tools it works great. I have no more sag on my truck because its level now. The ride is so much better i can barely fell the trailer behind me. Even though my trailer weights about 5000 lps gross weight, this one is more then enough. Just remember when you order this hitch to get a ball, I was able to use the one off my old hitch because i wanted maximum tongue weight.
