OregonGator Mulcher 3-N-1 Lawn Mower Blade For Toro 22-Inch Recycler 94-907 96-607

I installed this blade on a Toro recycler mower. After spending $300 on maintenance, including new drive belt and cable and new geared rear wheels, I was about ready to sell this mower and buy a Honda. But then I installed this blade. It is so much better than the OEM blade and similar replacements. I operate my mower as a bagger except when I mow a long strip of public land, when I mulch. In bagging mode, the clippings are much finer and I am able to mow longer before dumping the bag. The mower hasn't yet left rows of clippings along the sides of my path like with the old blade. I mow the public land less frequently and there is one section that gets especially long and thick with weeds. With the old blade, the mower would bog down in this section and I had to mow very slowly. The new blade cuts right through it with barely a change in engine speed or effort. This blade has given my mower new life and saved me $800-1,000 for a new mower.

Made sure it's balanced to reduce shaking,had to sand the heavy paint on the blade. Works great, I gave it a 4 star because of the heavy paint

This blade was exactly the same as the original. Bent the original on tree stumps and rocks. This blade cuts perfectly. Does a nice job. I’ve been using this manufacturer for more than 60 years. Never had an issue with any of their equipment.

Did a full refresh on the push mower, including some new shields under the cutting deck and added this new blade as my old one was more than depleted and resharpening again seemed misguided with the other new parts and the nominal cost of the blade.Blade didn't come as sharp as I'd hoped and while certainly sharp, I did to a few passes with a handheld sharpener to bring it up a bit.Pretty aggressive mulching "flutes" that stick up and I was initially concerned it would clear the deck on my Toro, but fitment was no issue and went on without a hitch.First mow yielded an immediate and impressive improvement in the mulching performance. Admittedly, this is in no small part due to the other new shields below the deck to keep the clippings in the blade area below the deck, but I'm also quite sure the steeper/more aggressive mulching "flutes" on the upper section of the blade help.This blade seems to mulch grass much more finely and allows the clippings to more easily settle into the lawn cleanly, with little to no clumping. However, I have also noticed that if I miss a mow, one has to be less aggressive as it seems easier to big down. For example, we had few days of rain in a row, so mowing three days late after a healthy drink for the lawn), and I couldn't do full passes without getting some bogging down and clumping. 2/3rds width passes allowed me to get through the thick, slightly damp-with-dew, lawn, but likely could have raised the mow height too. Just be aware that aggressive mulching seems to have this counterpoint.Has kept an edge fine, after about 10 mows.Overall, another fine Oregon product (use their chains on my chainsaw) and seems well with the purchase cost.

This new mulching blade exceeded my expectations. Dealing with thick grass was a challenge, even with a sharpened Toro factory blade. I considered upgrading to a mower with more horsepower until a professional recommended trying this aggressive mulching blade. It not only effortlessly cut through the dense grass but also left the lawn looking tidy without clumps. I 100% recommend it.

This lawn mower blade came with I nice sharp edge for a clean cut. The blade runs quite and has better mulch action then stock with a less clumping.

Upper mulching teeth are solid and work well. It definitely mulches finer than the standard blade. Less choking of cutting area in longer grass.

It is built very good and fits perfect. I would buy again.

I am very impressed with the way this blade mulch’s the grass under my 22inch toro 3/1. Is performs much better than the stock toro blade. This blade fit perfect no extra hardware necessary. I was surprised and disappointed at how dull it was from the factory. I had to spend a fair amount of time getting a sharp edge on it but once I did, it worked very well.
