Poor quality lids
The pair of 600ml Borosil jars I bought have air tight plastic lids with steel top cladding. But, when kept in fridge for a few hours, the metal top came off from the plastic portion as they were very poorly attached together with some adhesive. Though highly priced (Rs.899) I went for it on Borosil name. But, the product is dissatisfying.

The steel part came out of plastic cap
All was well for a week after that steel portion came out of plastic capCan the shop will exchange the product

Not airtight, low quality
They are not airtight. The rubber edge is loose. The steel part of the lid is falling apart. I bought four small and 2 large ones. All are bad quality. So it is a problem of the product itself and not a single piece.
