TeeHee Little Girls Cotton Fashion Crew Socks 6 Pair Pack (3-5 Years, Hearts Stripe)

We love these socks but they do shrink quite a bit so buy a bigger size than what you need. I've added a picture to show how much they shrink after several washes. Both of the socks are size 3-5 years. The one on the left has been through a lot of washes and the one on the right is new and hasn't been washed yet.

My daughter is the tiniest kid in her kindergarten class, but the kid has huge feet. Sometimes it looks like she is wearing flippers. Finding socks for her is not easy, and she is picky with "bumps" in socks. There are some that she almost refuses to wear because there are "bumps" near the heel or the toes. In the search for the perfect sock for her, I purchased these. Sizing seemed to be based on her age, but she was at the lower end of the age range. That is what I bought, and they seem to have been the right size for her. At least she is in her age-range.They are good socks. They have lasted well over a year at this point, and she is still wearing them. The successful "shoe on" to "Daddy, there are bumps" ratio is much smaller with these socks than others she wears. She has worn them to play, to school, to walk around the house, and even outside with no shoes a time or two. None of these have holes in them at this point, but you can tell that some of them are wearing thin. After a year of usage, they are also not as bright, but I would expect no difference.The heart/stripe pattern is cute, and there are good color combinations. Every now and then these clash with something she is wearing due to the pattern, but they are cute with everyday summer wear. She finds them comfortable, and they keep her feet warm inside during the winter but she never complains about them being too hot during summer months. She is getting close to outgrowing these, and I am sure it is some combination of her feet continuing to grow and these socks shrinking. From what I can tell, she will stop wearing them because her feet get too big and not because they are too worn out. Quality socks can be hard to find, especially the low-bump variety.

I have ordered at least three different styles of Naartjie socks. In general, these socks are a very comfortable cotton blend - perfect thickness (not too thin and not too thick) and feel. However, there are a lot of threads on the inside of the socks, do it's something to be mindful of if your child is sensitive to that. Some designs are worse than others in this regard (the heart ones are the worst by far). The stripe ones aren't that bad in the the design elements don't create too much extra internal thread, but on the bottom of the socks where the brand name is sewn in, all the patterns seem to have a heavy collection of threads and these fuzzy bumps. It's a shame because the name serves no purpose other than branding (it's not any kind of tread, for example, at least in the sizes 3-5 and higher I ordered). I ended up spending about 5 minutes per sock gently trimming away threads, and put a couple holes in some of the socks as a result (which my daughter then also won't wear). I've included a picture so you can see a comparison of a sock I trimmed and one I didn't.

I was elated to find TeeHee (formerly Nartjie) brand socks. I was late to discover this brand and years latter still lament that investors pulled the plug on the store as the clothes and socks outlasted all other brands. No matter how many times I washed them, they were still the best looking/fitting clothes in the closet. Their cottons were the softest! If all I can have of Nartjie are the socks, I'll take them! I've never had a brand of socks even come close to being as comfortable and lasting as this brand.

This is the 3rd set of naartjie socks I have bought for my daughters. They are a good quality. That said the sizing is off. You need to buy a bigger size, usually. My 3 year old daughter has grown out of the 3-5year size, so I bought the 6-8 years size, as it was the next size up and made sense that it should fit. Well it is much too big for her. the heel part is entirely on her calf. She will gorwn into them so it's not a problem, but they really should fix their sizing so it is reliable.

Bought the same set of socks in the same size about 6 months apart. The new socks are twice as big (see photo comparing) and the material feels less like cotton and more synthetic then in the past. I won't order again

My girls ages 8 and 11 really love these socks, which is saying something because they are super picky about their socks. Like crazy picky. I have bought so many different kinds of socks only to have them remain in the bottom of the sock drawer unworn because they are uncomfortable. But both girls seem to be happy with these socks and like the bright colors. I purchased the 9-10 year size; my daughters have small feet for their ages...shoe size 1 and 3 and they fit both well. I would recommend!

These are super cute, soft, and durable. My daughter loves them. These socks have the particular advantage of looking great even when you mismatch them: when your kid shows up wearing two different socks people will think you are a super cool mom with some sort of non-conventional style and not that you are such a hot mess that you can't even manage to find two of the same sock. Win win! Get two sets and you are set for a while.

Lasted less than 2 wears each. Colour drained quickly and material went stiff and uncomfortable

Lovely sets of girls socks, the fit is nice and after a few weeks of washing them, they still hold their first shape.They are a lovely soft feel material and my little girl is very comfortable in them, not to mention loving the patterns and colours!

Lovely socks made from a good qulaity soft material. they have washed and dried well too without losing shape or colour.
