The Botany Coloring Book

This helps sooo much!! If you are taking a plant physiology course, chances are high the professor is pulling diagrams from this book lol. Its a great reference tool to learn from!

As a docent in a botanic garden, where I received some botanic information, this has added a lot to my baseline knowledge. And it was relaxing to color in while I was learning.

This is a high quality botany coloring book. Covers many in-depth topics. Good for middle schoolers through college age.

This is definitely an in-depth college-level book. I bought it to use for children in a plant ID class, but I've been able to only use a few pages--it's just too detailed. I'm sure it has its place, but it's a bit too complicated for me! It has actually taught me how much I DON'T know and thought I DID! I'm going to hang on to it and maybe take that college-level botany class after all!

Whoever created this coloring book, I hope your pillow stays cool throughout the night. This is gods work and I would give them the biggest kiss on the lips! I’m retaining so much and it’s actually sticking in my brain! I feel so confident going into my final test and passing now! This is by far - one of the best things I’ve bought with my adult money!

It's a great learning vehicle, but you can't use markers on a double-sided print; will need colored pencils or something that won't bleed through the back of sheet so you can read the other side. This has a nicely detailed book on the subject of plants (flowers). I have had it for some time but still need to work on coloring. I did take a course in plants/flowers science, so I will enjoy it more now, once I have time.

This is a great coloring book! I was required to buy it for my botany class, but after using it, I would not hesitate to buy a similar one just for myself. The pages are extremely detailed and the book (when paired with other learning materials) follows a clear and logical progression of ideas that build upon themselves. Coloring the pages can take a bit of time, but as long as you like coloring, you'll be completely fine.

I got this for the plant student in my house and this coloring book makes learning plant anatomy a breeze.

El concepto de aprender dibujando es muy original. A medida que lees la lección, te da pautas para colorear y retener mejor. Le bajo una estrella porque la leyenda de colores a veces es poco intuitiva.

I'll keep it short, it's a good book. I purchased it mainly for reading, like the pictures and the fact it can also be colored.

This book has been an excellent tool to complement my Herbal Medicine Course. It has helped me so much to empathically and scientifically understand the cellular structures AND get deeper into the botanical chemistry WITHOUT THE MATH! (whew!) It is ALSO a great ARTISTIC TOOL as I can see more clearly how to portray various structures in my botanical illustration sketches. I do recommend using the learning tool instructions about applying which colours- where. I wanted to jump right in and colour-but the instructions are quick and do make the visual understanding of several pages at a glance, more meaningful via the continuity of the colouring choices for certain structures. Such a Lovely Book!

I'm studying botanical illustration and thought this would help me learn about botany at the same time as engaging in some mindful colouring in. Not a children's book by any means.
