LSE Lighting Pack of 3, E27 50W Bulbs for Zephyr Milano Europa Hoods 75mm

This is the best replacement I could find for my Zephyr Milano range hood so far (installed 2006).I was getting perfect replacement bulbs from a local electrical shop but they close the business. I tried a few replacements.None of the LED I tried are a good match because: the cone of light is too narrow, not the right length, the front surface (around the glass) has ventilation holes - very bad idea for a range hood letting greasy steam going places where it should not.Out of the halogen bulbs this was the closest to the perfect ones.This looses one star because the light is less intense and because the length is not the perfect length sitting about 1-2mm too low. This would not have been a big deal if they did not advertise this as specific for Zephyr Milano.A hint for owners of this range hood: you can adjust how low/high the bulbs are by bending the bulbs brackets/holders. The procedure is in the manual (many people throw them away w/o reading). To do that on my model (G ZML-M90G) I have to remove the wire mesh filters first. Once I do that i can see the bulb holders but still not access them. To do that I have to remove the "sinks" that hold the filters using a screwdriver.

Previously there were two 'E27' bulbs for Zephyr hoods that were available through Amazon- a bulb that was 72mm in length- too short to make electrical contact in the socket- and a 79mm bulb that made electrical contact, but protruded from the housing. Now, finally, there is a 75mm bulb (this one) that has the same dimensions as the original equipment bulb. I can't speak to longevity yet, but as far as fitment goes, these bulbs are perfect.

I have a 20 year old Zephyr Venezia hood that I now realize takes the 72mm bulb. When I first installed these, they protruded. I took the hood apart to see if I could raise the socket to correct the fit. To my absolute delight, I found that the manufacturer had drilled 2 sets of holes exactly 3mm apart in the metal piece that holds up the socket. After a bit of easy screwdriver work to raise the socket, they fit perfectly. Lights work and look great!

This bulb can be locally purchased at a very high price. Choose this package instead.

Lights fit well into my range hood where others protruded too far. Received them in timely manner and avoided a lot of time without light where we really need it.
