Packing was shocking!
Packaging was absolutely shocking! Not even in the Shimano box just a plastic bag with the washers and rotor bolts loose ! I hope this rotor is still straight!

Top quality, OEM fit
Replacing a worn rotor on my fat bike with this genuine Shimano part took all of ten minutes. If you have never done this yourself, there are many videos on line to show you how. This rotor comes with the necessary T-25 screws (be forewarned, you will need a T-25 Torx Star driver)

Easy install, quality product
Was better than the stock tektro rotor. Part felt higher quality. Was easy to install. Braking was as good as before without the wobble (had warped rotor before).

Great replacement for a squealing SRAM
I bought this to replace an OEM installed SRAM rotor that wouldn't stop squealing, wet or dry. I bought the 6-bolt, 180mm rotor. Problem solved. When installing a new rotor like this, wash it with strong detergent. And do the same for your pads if you intend to reuse your old pads (providing they're in great shape). A light sanding on a flat surface is recommended. Make sure you've washed and dried them. I haven't had good luck with isopropyl alcohol, so I'd stick with Dawn, or Simple Green or something like that. Then, when you're ready to go, make several (at least 10) full-throttle stops with just the brake rotor you replaced. You need to bed the pads to the rotor. Then... off you go.

Good product
Yes it’s made in China not Japan. Easy to install. Not bent. After bedding I’m more worried about how well it brakes. Have yet to trail test. Good product!
